It's possible that teen mom Bristol Palin may be regretting her barely-there outfit and sexy dance moves from Monday night's "Dancing with the Stars" performance.
The political daughter showed some serious skin in her rumba with partner Mark Ballas, and she may think twice next time. "I go around and I talk about abstinence, then I'm out here in my underwear," she told "Extra." Her hindsight is getting clearer.
Whether Bristol questioned it or not, her parents Sarah and Todd Palin did not. "They were proud of me," she said. "They thought I did a good job and I'm happy with that."
On Tuesday's elimination, Bristol was at the bottom of the chopping block, but it was "Jersey Shore's" Mike "The Situation" and his partner Karina Smirnoff who got the boot. Skipping a press line backstage, Mike left Karina to speak to the media.

This kid is so modest that it will probably cost her the show. She works extremely hard each week but is horribly uncomfortable being sexy. She’s a good kid that made a mistake but lives her life trying to fix it and make good of it.
Does everyone here have kids that have never made a mistake? Are all of the kids here perfect?
I can hear it coming “but her mom is in politics and all that this brings....” well, she’s a human and if her parents aren’t such stuffed shirts about it, why cant you be?
I find her modesty refreshing, she was hardly bare.

She is a kid, most (male and female) are fertile and pretty as all get out in the youth.
This is a natural reality that produces all those cute little young things everywhere.... That grow into the big ugly things everywhere. This applies from prion to human, and everything between.
Yeah, cuz adult women should be kept locked away, dressed in burkas, and treated like property.
Maybe she could be forced to convert to Islam.
Bristol has nothing to be ashamed of in this dance contest, she is doing just fine. The tabloids made her a celebrity, and she is justified in taking advantage of it to support her child.
Bristol is trying hard but she is being used by the producers.
They always manage to trash her up or trash the act up.
It started with the first night song pick - “Mama Told Me Not To Come.”
How subtle is that!
Compare her outfit this week to most of the others.
There are too many people eager to use her to dug at her mom.
She is too naive to be let out alone.
What type of dance is that? The Intercourse?
That photo of Bristol laying on the floor half naked with that man on top of her was what we called “soft porn” just a generation ago.
“Hard porn” was when they had their clothes off and there were close-ups of intimate contact.
But this is still PORN in my book, and Bristol is disgracing her family by participating in it.
Some weeks back, there was a thread about Bristol going on “Dancing with the Stars” ( http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2597335/posts ), and I called it a “wanton exhibition of bad taste”.
For that, I was excoriated and castigated with personal attacks throughout the thread.
I submit that this disgusting photo vindicates me.

This is a DANCE competition, and a fairly rated G-PG one at that. It’s not a wet t-shirt contest!
Rumba, salsa, and Latin dances have been around for decades and are traditionally passionate. This is not porn, this is not dirty dancing. This is a beautiful dance with a long history, that is celebrated all over the world in ballroom dancing competitions.

Children of the famous need a required course in how to avoid being USED by boyfriends, magazines, television programs, and so forth. Bristol, honey, they are using you to get what they want. Whatever it is, don’t do it any more.

Being beautiful is not a sin. People need to lighten up. Does being pretty help her on a television show ? yes.
Sarah Palin is beautiful too, but I never found her all that attractive because she is almost the exact same age as and she reminds me too much of my mom.

Not everyone will agree with Bristol's decisions, but she and Mark are very publicly demonstrating that everyone makes choices, and we need to think about things and make choices with which we feel comfortable, and stay away from things that feel wrong to us.
Everyone makes mistakes. Bristol's doing a pretty good job of showing what it looks like to come back and do it better the second time.
