NEWSCORE - New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie won the 2012 presidential straw poll at the Virginia Tea Party Patriots Convention -- beating former Alaska Go. Sarah Palin and the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee Texas Rep. Ron Paul, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported Saturday..

Christie received 14 percent of the 1,560 votes cast in the straw poll, which featured 15 potential presidential candidates.

Palin came in second and Paul was third in the unofficial poll, the Martinsville Daily reported, with former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and U.S. Senator Jim DeMint rounding out the top five.

FWIW indeed Pissant!

Christie is a good fiscal conservatives but he said that he is not ready to run for President and a straw poll either way for Christie or Palin or any other Republican means nothing

Christie is correct. he needs to clean up new jersey. He would be great in 2016.

What we need now it a good 2012 candidate. I cant see Palin as president. She would be great in a cabinet position. Like secretary of eliminating the education monster.

Well, I'll say this for him - he's got a better chance than Mitt (because Mitt doesn't believe in anything, but will be punished because people think he believes in Mormonism), Newt (because he has no integrity and a woman's voice), Rudy (because of moral objections to his confusion about morals), and Arnie (because he can't find his US birth certificate, long form).

However, Sarah will chew him up in the Iowa caucuses and will come roaring into New Hampshire as a charismatic, energetic frontrunner.

He'll never be ready to be POTUS unless there is a fundamental change in the foundation of the principles he stands or.

He's weak on Cap-n-Trade

He's weak on ObamaCare

He's weak on the Global Warming Scam

He's weak on Illegal Immigration

He's weak on the 2nd Amendment

He endorsed Mike Castle (The RINO's RINO) over Christine O'Donnell.

In short, he's a moderate, not a conservative.

He's not ready for Prime-Time!

I can see her as President..she is not going to take second palce if I read her book correctly; only unless there is someone who advocates the basic principles especially energy independence

He won’t run. The political issues mentioned are irrelevant; the answer is clear in his character. His greatest strength is his reputation for honesty. Everyone betting against that has lost, epically. He’s said he won’t run in 2012 as clearly as possible. If he changes the latter he loses the former. He won’t.

No. He should be governor and fix New Jersey. He will need to be there a long time. This is just stupid MSM press trying to dupe him and us into goading him to run.

He’s just another RINO to me. Fine for NJ, but a nightmare for president.

FYI, Her Holiness supports a path to citizenship.

By calling Sarah Palin her holiness, you're running with the worst kind of liberal, scum-sucking jackasses the Democrat Party and the Mainstream Media have ever foisted upon American decency.

You should be peddling your religious mockery at some failed liberal board, chump. Your kind of disrespect is for losers and idiots.

The cultists have re-labeled her as “The One”. It would be “The New One”, since Obama already claims the previous moniker.

Leave him alone. He has a big job on his hands - cleaning up Jersey. After he gets a few more years under his belt, then let’s talk about higher office. Right now . . leave him alone.

On closer inspection, he did it twice in one post. If it’s good enough for a cultist, it should be good enough for everyone. Though I’m partial to Dear Tweeter.

You need to place the blame where it lays...replacing their Messiah with your Messiah is no better than them, and a mockery in itself.

Your claim is that "the cultists" have relabeled her "The One."

You never stop lying, trollbreath.
