The campaign for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jerry Brown said this morning that the Democratic candidate did not suggest calling Republican rival Meg Whitman a "whore" on a voicemail recording to the Los Angeles Police Protective League that was made public last night.
Brown spokesman Sterling Clifford, however, said he didn't know who used the word in the recording.
"Obviously, it's not the kind of thing people should say, and we've apologized for it," Clifford said. "It wasn't Jerry."

Meg will use her resources to dop a voice stamp ID on the recording and then let out the results. Even if Moonbeam didn’t use the term, just saying they would use it is even worse.
It’s Jerry Brown’s voice. I lived in LA during his terms as governor in the 1970s and he has a VERY distinctive voice - husky. It is so clear that he uses the “whore” word.

I’d just like to go on the record and state that we have two whores running for the top spot in California this year. Don’t expect me to apologize in a few days either.
We have two liars, two morons, two people more focused on trashing the other than explaining in detail their plans to end illegal immigration, the budget problems, the undo union influence and how to overcome 40 years of liberal governance from the California Legislature.
No, it’s more important to herald how bad the other one is. And frankly, there’s more than enough evidence to support that. It just chaps my ass to watch these two nitwits claim they’re gonna do things they have no intention of doing.
Can we just put dual execution of specific candidates on the ballot and be done with these two? How about including the complete Legislature of California. For once, a ballot with an initiative worth voting for.

I listened in when Rush played it. I had thought the allegation was about the aide, but when the word came up, it was Jerry speaking. I lived in CA, heard his voice thousands of times. That was he.

Yes!! He has an incredibly distinctive voice. When I was a young fool, I thought it was an attractive voice, lol.
If we believe this, we also believe John Edward’s aide got Rielle Hunter pregnant.
It is husky, but has an odd ring to it which makes it penetrate, as any would-be politician’s should.
I really hope the Dems try to manage this meme the way they’re going so that Meg has traction to ask for a voice analysis. Whatever it costs, it’d be worth it.
