Foe hits Kirsten on debt (DioGuardi vs. Gillibrand)

ALBANY -- Republican Joe DioGuardi slammed rival Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand yesterday for voting twice to raise the federal debt ceiling, and vowed to shut down the government before taking a similar vote.

"You are not going to get from me what you got from Kirsten Gillibrand," the accountant and former congressman told a group of business leaders and Republicans. "She gave the Obama administration an open checkbook."

Gillibrand has twice joined her fellow Democrats to raise the legal limit on the debt the federal government can carry.

He ought to bring up the fact that Gillibrand’s done nothing when it comes to getting to the bottom of how and why the Lockerbie bomber deal was done....

Let’s hope NYS voters vote wisely for a change, and vote for DioGuardi. Otherwise, even more NY citizens will be leaving NYS. The state is a MESS!!
