Sorry I'm late with posting all these. Been so mad busy.

I was in DC for both marches, 9/11 and 12. The 9/11 pics are here

I had a fantastic time that day, I hope that more of you all made it there too. The crowd was unfortunately not as large as I'd hoped, but less than a month after the glenn beck rally it didn't surprise me. I still felt it was a respectable showing. It's nice to be around so many patriots.

Thank you for the pics. It looks like a decent showing, especially so soon after 8/28. I think it’s also important to recognize that many people are working on campaigns now and have less time available for attending rallies. November is around the corner - time to take out the trash!

Thanks for the pictures. Always good for reminders of why this election is so important.

I didn’t see our group though. :-))

Did you go to the 9/12 rally? It looks like there was a smaller attendance than last year.

I was there with approximately 55 tea party members from Wilson, NC...I see our bright orange tea party flag in one of your pictures...:)

The crowd was smaller this year...first, I think, because of the Beck Restoring Honor Rally (which I also went to and that was absolutely fantastic) on 0828, and also because there were other 0912 rallies planned around the country...another tea party crowd we ran into from Texas said 1/3 of their members came to the DC rally, 1/3 had gone to a rally in California and another 1/3 were attending a rally in St. Louis...so we were really spread out!

Thanks for sharing your pics!

Pic # 7?

I did see a lot of people there from the carolinas. South carolina too, they had on blue shirts.

Yeah, I was kind of bummed about that. I mean, hey, I’m all for getting out as many people as possible but if the crowds are split up you aren’t gonna get as large of a march on DC and we really need strong showings in DC IMHO.

Another poster pointed out that some might be involved with campaigning, which also made sense.

I’m glad you made it. I had a lot of fun that day.

Yep, picture #7 and also in #4 I believe...our tea party shirts are the same bright orange color as our flag...we picked the bright orange color for security reasons for our first tea party rally (so we could keep track of each other easily)and so many people liked the shirts so much we had to get many more made...they’ve been a huge success and a great little fundraiser...

We had a great time in DC too...for the Restoring Honor rally and the 0912 rally...wouldn’t have missed either one!
