WASHINGTON: WASHINGTON: US President Barack Obama is likely to arrive in India on November 5 instead of November 7 as originally scheduled. He will leave Washington DC on the night of November 4 soon after the mid-term Congressional election where many pundits are predicting severe reverses for the Democratic Party.
He will be away from the US for almost 12 days, one of the longest tours during his presidency, touching India, Indonesia, Japan, and South Korea, before returning to Washington DC on November 14.

Yeah Dear Leader can make time to visit Indonesia, but can not bring himself to visit Australia; the same as he could visit all those Islamic-Controlled countries in the ME, but has studiously avoided Israel!

It appears that Diwali night is a big deal in India. So he has moved up his trip so that Michelle can see the Festival of Lights.
He’s political poison right now. This gives him an excuse to disappear from the campaigns of Dems who don’t want him near.
He will be shocked to see air quality that day. Indian love fire crackers on Diwali night.

I see why Obama is arriving on Diwali night .... he thinks it's all about him. Michelle isn't going to like it though - the celebrants share sweets and snacks .... maybe she should bring some White House veggies along so she doesn't add more junk to the trunk.

I guess he doesn’t want to be around while the analysts explain away the election results.

Ok...my spidey sense is all tingling here. It got moved but it doesn't really say it was to participate in the "inner light" festivities? I don't think this quite appears to be what it is trying to appear to be.
What will the countries reaction be to a total democrat scorched earth? Will this election cycle remain peaceful if the democrats are tossed?
I think things are about to get very, very ugly and the trip change is to protect 0bama.
Let's face it...everyone knows they could have rolled through so many changes...and didn't. The republicans could have all voted no...and they still could have passed every piece of their agenda and they failed.
There are repercussions brewing between the progressives and what is left of the democrats.

Worst time to go when people are busy with family and celebration. Rarely, even switch on TV.
I think Indian Govt. will arrange hired crowd, even that will be difficult to find.
