He’ll claim he was packing his socks for the big trip and missed election night.

Sounds like BO is trying to appeal to the Hindu's.
I wonder what his ulterior motive is?

Just what India needs — another Muslim.

But Michelle not going to Indonesia..Imagine that!
She didn't accompany him to Turkey either. She went shopping in France.
Women don't belong around Muslim men discussing business, although she'd look good in a burqa, should she go.
I can just see the write-up in Glamour Magazine -- "Michelle wows! Adds style and grace to the burqa."

This is part of a HUGE trip, with lots of our taxpayer dollar$$$$. Do you know he is taking over a 570-room Deluxe hotel in India? 570 rooms! Several jets are accompanying him on this trip. Then on to...Indonesia...India is just part of this. I mean, there will be millions of dollars spent.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/10/24/entire-taj-mahal-hotel-reportedly-booked-obama-mumbai-visit/
Obama is taking off after the election on a vacation, well, maybe a day here or there for official biz, but, 570 rooms! I hope there is a thread on this soon. Unbelievable.
My wish is that this trip, full of wasteful dollars, somehow reaches the consciousness of the media, at least Fox. More money spent by Michelle, more vacation days by Obama. All while our country is reeling from a recession, with so much overspending, facing inflation, on and on.
What is our president’s response? Let’s take over the Taj Mahal! It is only $3,352.00 for a 7-night stay! And that is for a “regular room”, not the many luxury suites - there are over 40 of those, and the Obamas have reserved all 570 rooms.
So...let’s see: $3,352/7-day stay, times 570 rooms = $1,910,640. Almost $2 million dollars. Does not include tips, breakfast, lunch, dinner, conference rooms, clothes sent up to Michelle.
Am I exaggerating? That is for 7 days. Per day: $272,948.
Does not include the 3 jets to get there, special limos, gifts, food, good grief. This is an outrage. I still am steamed.
