Sarah Palin's 2012 Opportunity

To do what? Throw the election for Obama like her mentor McCain did?

"Senator McCain and I agree on
the big picture, where it is
that the country needs to go."

FMR. AK. GOV. SARAH PALIN, 28 MAR. 2010

I have divided emotions on this.

Sadly, we need someone who can generate enthusium and attract crowds. I say sadly because it is the nature of most people to be attracted to such candidates (see BHO circa 2008). It’s often a matter style, not substance, for the electorate. Not that I don’t think Sarah has substance. She certainly does.

None of the other candidates have the “crowd generating” quality she has. I like the ideas of some, but really don’t see the charisma.

On the other hand, she maybe more valuable in the role she currently occupies. She certainly has full range to speak her mind. That would be silenced in a presidential campaign.

If I were her, or any other candidate, I wouldn’t want the job. It’s pretty well darned if you do don’t. But I’m glad some people are willing to take the abuse.

Would I vote for her...yeah. A debate between Sarah and the Won could be very interesting.

If Jim DeMint stops the lame ducks from passing their crap after the election, he will be right up there with Palin very quickly.

I think it’s almost anybody’s game. But judging by past behavior, anytime a republican starts making connections with American people the dems and MSM will make them a laughingstock/demonize them, etc.. It’s worked pretty well so far in the case of Sarah Palin. Imagine Mother Teresa trying to run for President and what they’d do to her. Plus, now we have a justice dept. that colludes with Black Panthers and others of that persuasion to intimidate voters.

And maybe by 2012 Obama will have his ‘volunteer, (paid by taxpayers), national youth ‘corpse’ to march around in fatigues shouting his name. They’ll organize neighborhood watch groups to report on anyone who might pull the wrong lever. Kids report on parents, etc., like Nazi’s. And they’ll have access to your computer, too, so we’re all doomed.

Never lose sight of the fact that you have John McCain to thank for all that is happening in the country now...tea parties, Sarah, etc....because it was McCain who brought us Sarah and that was the beginning of it all.

RE :”According to Brown, candidates who take risks and run for a variety of offices do well. It's even better if they lose a presidential race or two. “It takes about a run and a half to get there,” Brown says. Pols “may think they can get it done in six months or a year, but [winning] will actually take them running, losing, and planting seeds,” she says.

This sounds like he wants her to run against Obama and lose to further her political career.

I like Governor Palin, but I believe that her leaving office early in Alaska will doom her 2012 candidacy. I'm not criticizing the choice she made under the circumstances, but leaving office after less than two years will hurt her. She has the name recognition right now, and she'll get some good endorsements. Her campaign will still have problems. Maybe I'll be supporting her in a year, but I'm not optimistic about her chances.

I’m against anti-family social programs (e.g., VAWA) and tax hikes against oil companies for the purpose of increasing revenues for so-called “education.” As for back door boys (romantics, SNAGs: sensitive New Age guys) dividing women against men, I’m against that, too.
