I don’t think anyone is buying into his attempt at religion, he is getting support for doing something that millions of us want to see

You can do the same thing. Just go out and buy a Koran and burn it.

Yah, it’s not about his religion or affiliations. It’s those of us who have had it up over our heads with being told, as Americans, that we have to appease the muslims everytime their little minds get offended. We must slap down fellow Americans and bust them of their rights. We have to put up with their insensitivity at Ground Zero. I, for one, am sick of it.

He is a giant not unlike David against Goliath. I just wish it were not one single American who has committed not crime who is causing the so called, “global community” and the entire US government from the president down to the dog catcher attempting to censor and silence a single man who’s moral clarity is crystal clear. Islam is smiling.

Are you supporting this obnoxious event and this religious wacko because of his 1st Amendment right?

I like the suggestion that once he gets the media there for the “burning”, he says he has reconsidered and proceeds to read those portions of the Koran calling Jews “pigs”, inciting violence etc.

I agree, but aren’t you an order of magnitude low on the number?

so burner has proved that muslims are not peaceful and do not understand our laws.
That in itself has been a success.

muslims could have proved us all wrong and said well we disagree but it is your laws which allow this but no they go out giving death threats and calling for death.

As for the idiots which say this will put our troops in harms way.
Well they already are, it’s called a war with rounds flying at them.

As for this Govt and the General saying we are over there to bring freedom and protect freedom here. Well how can you say that with a straight face when you tell someone here not to do something.

In a sense, the issue has to do with property rights. If the Qurans were bought or donated, then they are simply private property, to be utilized in any way the owner sees fit..If there are ordinances against burning them, they could be used as, say, bumfodder..
