I had the great pleasure to speak with Gloria Clodfelter, whose son Kenneth was one of the 17 US sailors who died in the terrorist attack on the USS Cole. I contacted her after reading the article. She is, indeed, very outspoken about this. We need her voice on talk radio. Apparently, the man who is unfortunately temporarily our commander in chief has little interest in vigorously prosecuting anything to do with terrorist acts of his Muslim buddies. Is there any wonder that there is a growing belief among many Americans that the Chicago community organizer may actually be a Muslim? The Christianity he professes was learned in a church led by an American hater and Jew hater, Jeremiah Wright.
Here is the email that John Clodfelter gave me permission to post. I had sent him the FR discussion thread.
"I've passed this on to the other families. Our son Kenneth was the 1st to die and we've buried him 3 times. President Bush refused to speak with the families of those that were killed. I've tried to have memorial erected on the grounds at Arlington (As there are 54 other memorials to other horrific incidents and our Congressmen will not respond. It seems the the USS Cole attack should be the 1ST to be presecuted, when in fact the people in our goverment do not want to hear about anything that involves this incident."

John and Gloria, your son and the others will never be forgotten here. I am disappointed that President Bush had not met with the families. That is so unlike him and the private support he has always given to our troops. Thanks to FReeper Diogenesis for the great images HERE

Don’t know why Bush didn’t meet with them.
I read nothing about Clinton meeting with them.
So why are they complaining that Bush never met with them.

Bush was the one who really had respect for the troops. He met privately with families all the time. It was out of character for him not to meet with the families, even though it happened before his watch. Nothing good or patriotic was ever expected from Clinton because he was simply a narcissist.
I’ll agree with you on Bubba.
And I too am surprised that Bush didn’t meet with the families of the Cole victims. Maybe because it didn’t happen on his watch.
