WASHINGTON — If Democrats had doubts about the voter unrest that threatens to rob them of their majority in Congress, they needed only look from the Capitol this weekend to the opposite end of the National Mall.

It's where Ken Ratliff joined tens of thousands of other anti-government activists at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial for conservative commentator Glenn Beck's "Restoring Honor" rally.

"There's gotta' be a change, man," said Ratliff, a 55-year-old Marine veteran from Rochester, N.Y.

LOL!

Well, it sounds like were getting Bubba back. I heard he’s just been called in to advice the Goofball-In-Chief on economic matters.

Boy, talk about a combo-platter.

The Leftists are reduced to lying about how many people were there. Tragic. Who to believe the Socialist government run media or your lying eyes.

If the current administration is calling “Bubba” back then they are is some SERIOUS feces...up to their necks and MAYBE, some seeping into the corners of their mouths (sorry for being so graphic but I can't help it). Bubba should stay away and let the “punk from Illinois” seep in his own juices. On the other hand, for the good of the country, maybe Bubba can do some good.

“They slip in a lie about the news, the only hard news they can report without opinion, which is the size of the crowd, which was clearly hundreds of thousands.”

What’s disturbing and clever about this is that no one can claim they explicitly lied: the crowd did measure tens of thousands: about 50 tens of thousands according to even NBC!
But the reporters who resorted to this misleading formulation surely also knew that the average reader would make an inference from this formulation that the crowd must have been below 100,000. So if pressed, I’m sure these reporters would have claimed they can’t be responsible for the erroneous inferences of their readership—even though it’s pretty clear they expected their ignorant readers to do exactly that.

I heard this on Monica Crowley yesterday and Monica reminded her listening audience that the Clintons have NEVER done anything for the good of their country and have never had a SHRED of loyalty to anybody (even each other) and we all (including the Great Goofball Messiah himself) better watch out.

Yes. Hey, I am wondering about the government media blitz on Katria is all about. Useually it is related to some Leftist adgenda. Any ideas? I can’t figure out what the angle is.

The fact that the Clintoons looked out for their own interests is pretty clear now but the “punk from Illinois” is not out for himself. he is motivated by IDEOLOGY, an extremist ideology for the “good of all” and that is what makes him so frightening. He’s driven by an idea, tried and tested in many failed regimes from the 20th century...

What the hell does Bubba know about the economy? Other than how to skim off it, that is?

He inherited the Reagan boom, then got the benefit of the high tech bubble. So far as I can recall, he did absolutely nothing for the economy other than get in its way from time-to-time -- raising taxes, libelling pharmaceutical suppliers, suing Microsoft, etc.

“NBC Nightly estimated the crowd at 500,000.”

Cool. I wonder if this estimate will be acknowledged or reported over at the MSNBC side of the house. Anyone have the stomach to watch Matthews, Maddow or Olbermann tomorrow night to find out?

I think the punk from Illinois isn’t even as ideologically motivated as you suggest. Maybe at one time, perhaps. But now he’s tightened his goals down to a single sharp-edged plan: destroy America.

No? In order to destroy America (which I do not think he is intending on doing), weaken yes, destroy...not yet, he must first follow through on a plan. The plan must be methodical and precise to lull all of us into a lethargic nanny-state. This is goal number one. The problem seems to be with his foreign policy as well. Reject allies, reel in enemies. We are getting off course here. Let's get back to Beck's Rally, ok?

“NBC Nightly estimated the crowd at 500,000.”

Obama Inauguration: 1.8 million (think he could draw a crowd of anywhere near that size today?)

9/12 March: ~1 million

Million Man March: 823,000

Restoring Honor rally: 500,000 + 100,000+ Facebookviewers + ??? other on-line viewers + ??? who couldn’t reach the Mall due to Metro/traffic congestion

Yeah, I’d say Dems have a reason to be worried about November.

Do not be lulled into a false-sense of euphoria. Stay vigilant but do not get swept away by your (our) impression that the entire nation is with Beck & Co. and against all DemocRATS. It’s too early folks. Don’t assume anything yet. Play it cool, get the word out and lobby for OUR CHANGE. Do it slowly and surely...tread quietly and get the job done but no parties yet - it’s way TOO early.

CBS called it 87,000.

Yep, the bimbo from seeBS said that they had an outside group estimate the size of the crowd, at precisely 87,000.

Too rich.

It looked like there were that many within spitting distance of the stage {or any congress critter that wandered by}.

CBS contacted the same person that gave Dan Rather those “real” Bush Guard documents.

“Beck rally signals election trouble for Dems”

Aw, ya think?

An old piece of home truth says, “If you’re in a hole, stop digging.”

The Democratics have been furiously digging, in spite of warnings and shouts from above. And they show absolutely no indication that they will abate anytime soon.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, you would think the Democratics would have picked up on that after the demise of Teddy Kennedy and the loss of “his” seat to a Republican. But NOOOOOO, they seem to believe they live a charmed life.

Charmed, maybe, but not charming. After running on the largely fabricated charge that Republicans had a “culture of corruption”, the Democratics then proved they really were interested on cornering the market on corruption.

At that, they have been highly successful. Daily revelations that widespread voter fraud, intimidation, and suppression have taken place in many supposedly “blue” Congressional districts, and is still going on, only strengthen the case agains the “one-party” rule this nation has fallen prey to.

In certain situations, “one-party” rule may seem to be the most efficient way of overcoming an immediate crisis, but efficiency is the one thing we must NEVER demand of our governments, only accountability. And this regime regards itself as beyond accountability.

There were no pitchforks or torches at this rally. But if that is what it takes, that is what will happen.
