I didn’t patently write that Britain shares the responsibility for the victims at Auschwitz.

But if you insist.

If even one Jew was burned at Auschwitz because the White Paper prevented that Jew from reaching the land of Israel, then Britain is complicit.

You've posted enough that I think it pretty obvious you hate the British. We get it. Self introspection is a good thing and perhaps you need to recognize this weakness in yourself. Your blanket hatred for the Brits is little different than your view of the blanket hatred they have for the Jews.

This is not the best way to help Israel. She needs all the allies she can get. Cultivate the allies you have in Britain, there are some. But even they will turn away, if they are lumped in with the rest.

Another Brit-hater. Free Republic seems lousy with them, lately.

I despise their attitude towards Israel and their constant sucking up to Islam like David Cameron did last week. Saying all kinds of crazy stuff about Turkey. Boosting them for the EU

I know a Jewish guy who loved to visit the UK with his wife. He timed his trips so he would get in two days at speakers corner in Hyde Park which is only on Sunday.. That has been ruined for him now because now most of the speakers are loony toon Muslim going on about politics and their religion

Thanks for the advice.

I’m certain it comes from you with the interests of Jews/Israel at heart.

It was implicit. Now you’ve made it explicit. So thanks for that, at least.

UK is mostly of no help to Israel there days. That is why Peretz went off the way he did. Plus they work for the Muslims more than ever helping Israel

Too bad if you are blinded to this

So what countries are helpful? In the scheme of things, modern Britain can’t be that high in the list of “enemies”. At least not so high on the list, to justify some of the excessive hatred that seems to exist on this thread.

Why is Britain required to help Israel? Is Israel supposed to help us? From my experience, Israeli attitudes to Britain are similar to those HearMe demonstrates so well.

Because Israel is surrounded by 200 million hostile Muslims and is on the frontline against Jihad. Contrast this with the luxury and comfort addicted Europeans and British who allow the Muslims to take over their nations via immigration. Who is showing the real courage here?

Don't help Israel and don't help those damn Jews. But don't complain when Israel gets backed up against the wall and the Samson option is used. And most Arab and Iranian oil gets obliterated and turned radioactive. And oil goes to $400/barrel
Because that's the direction all this is going

It is not the worst but being an allegedly civilized nation it is held to a higher standard than Russians and Iranians

Because Britain could be so much better when I look at their great history. Instead they are spoiled and lazy and tilt towards Islam. The Great Britain that once had an empire sits back and allows its former Muslim subjects to invade her. Socialism has turned their minds into mush

Based on this comment, I wouldn't classify your view has "hatred" but rather one of disappointment. You could say much about the USA though. We have become spoiled and lazy and we allow ourselves to be invaded by our neighbors to the South.

But like the Brits, most Americans don't hate Israel or the Jews even if we have not been the most helpful lately. How does that quote go? "Never assume malice, when incompetence would explain it".

I don't believe the British in general are genuinely anti-semetic. I've been there enough and experienced none of it. And to anti-semites (and under Hitler's method), I would be considered a Jew.

Obviously, they have their knuckleheads and politicians who have agendas. But again, this is no different than what occurs in Israel. You have knuckleheads and self serving politicians too. Recognizing that should not lead to a general dislike for a people or country, or a labeling them all as being anti-whatever... as Peres has done. He was wrong. It was driven by personal emotional involvement and understandable, but still wrong.

Last I heard, Britain was also on the frontline against jihad. It's called Afghanistan.

When it comes to Israel v. the Arabs, Britain has no dog in that fight. Both sides hate us.

As for fighting to stop ME oil being irradiated - it will happen or won't happen. There's nothing Britain can do about it. As you pointed out in a previous post, the days of the British Empire are long over.

You know that is optional. UK has already left Iraq because that was optional. Israel has no option except to defend itself against Jihad. You know why Muslims love living in England and multiplying like rabbits there and perpetually bringing their Pakistani marriage partners there? Because (nearly) all Muslim nations are arid shyteholes. They love your verdant landscape. That’s why Islam and Muhammad are so nasty. Because they perpetually fought over water that Britain takes for granted. You are liberal and civilized because you have water and rainfall.

Yes...I have no burning hated for the English. Just greatly pissed off and disappointed. They are largely responsible for bringing democracy to the world and here they are usually siding with Muslims against Israel, the only civilized democracy in the Middle East

Yes, Israel is on the front line. That’s what happens when you move into the middle of a bad neighbourhood. I wish them well, but their fight is not my fight.

their fight is not my fight.

In other words, you can't choose sides between the Israelis, who just want to live, and the barbarians who just want to murder them (and us).

Or in other words, you "wash your hands" of the entire issue.

So noted.
