Based on this comment, I wouldn't classify your view has "hatred" but rather one of disappointment. You could say much about the USA though. We have become spoiled and lazy and we allow ourselves to be invaded by our neighbors to the South.

But like the Brits, most Americans don't hate Israel or the Jews even if we have not been the most helpful lately. How does that quote go? "Never assume malice, when incompetence would explain it".

I don't believe the British in general are genuinely anti-semetic. I've been there enough and experienced none of it. And to anti-semites (and under Hitler's method), I would be considered a Jew.

Obviously, they have their knuckleheads and politicians who have agendas. But again, this is no different than what occurs in Israel. You have knuckleheads and self serving politicians too. Recognizing that should not lead to a general dislike for a people or country, or a labeling them all as being anti-whatever... as Peres has done. He was wrong. It was driven by personal emotional involvement and understandable, but still wrong.

Yes...I have no burning hated for the English. Just greatly pissed off and disappointed. They are largely responsible for bringing democracy to the world and here they are usually siding with Muslims against Israel, the only civilized democracy in the Middle East
