His polling is a yo-yo. Someone mentioned that -17 is about right and I agree. One day he is at -15 and the next -20 so average -17 is correct for a long while. I think he is toast but I never thought Clinton would win a second term either so who knows what the voters will do in 2012.

Same here. But, a bit of a turnaround in the economy and he most probably would win reelection. And he has about 18 months to make that happen.
As for all the talk about Hillary challenging him -- it won't happen. Dems are not that stupid to challenge their own sitting president. If Obama decides (via force or his own preference) not to seek a second term, then Clinton is probably the next viable contender.
And the GOP would probably go with Gingrich, to ensure a Clinton victory. [Shaking head at the GOP and some of the things they do.]

Clinton would not have won a first *OR* second term, if Ross Perot had not stolen so many voters.
In both elections, Clinton won with way less than 50% of the vote.

Bob Dole was Clinton’s opponent, though...
Enough said.

The real question is who knows what the vote COUNTERS will do in 2010 or 2012.
