The frustration and anger by conservatives about the direction of this country continue to grow. Even many moderates are starting to wake up to the failed policies and lack of leadership by the Obama administration.
In the Georgia primary election July 20, Republicans cast more ballots than Democrats for governor by a two-to-one margin. The other races on the ballot also showed that significantly more Republicans voted than Democrats, but the highest office on the ticket is a most telling sign about what could happen in November.
"Could happen" is the operative phrase, because Republicans could take back control of Congress if conservatives get out and vote the right way in November. The results in the recent Georgia primary are consistent with an ongoing Gallup poll showing that conservatives outnumber liberals two-to-one. Moderates have a one-and-a-half head count advantage over liberals in the same poll.

“Even many moderates are starting to wake up”
Awake or asleep, they are not to be trusted.
How could a rational person give authority or power to someone who is *only*now* realizing what a bucket of weasel crap the Bamtard is?
My question is: To what end? Will a new Republican-led administration lower the onerous tax rates which have been set upon us over the past 20 years? Will they loosen control to the point where we actually have Freedom, or will they maintain the status quo?
Lately, regardless of the party in the majority, it's been more of the same.
Case in point ,Trent Lott,We dont need more Jim Demints around here
What in the world are you talking about?
“Will a new Republican-led administration ...”
I suspect to be successful ... a Republican-led Congress would literally have to caucus OUTSIDE the DC Beltway.
The administrative apparatus is so “rigged” in DC as to be relatively impervious to Constitutional change....so caucusing elsewhere and empowering Flyover Country to implement “real change” that DC won’t even think about may well be the only alternative.
When asked about Conservatives getting elected Trent Lott said we Dont Need anymore Jim Demints around here
Ah, OK then. That’s sure a feather in Lott’s cap, isn’t it?
;-)
Trent Lott has got a full Indian chief's headdress of those feathers.
The Georgia primaries were also a cautionary tale. The two candidates going into the run off are Karen Handel, who was by no means the most conservative candidate, and Nathan Deal, a 17 year congressman who swapped parties in 1995 when the Republicans took the majority in the house.
A very compelling potential Veep candidate, Mr. Cain.
