BMI calculated from height and weight is stupid and inaccurate. I’m about 5’9” but pushing 200lbs because I work out and have muscle mass. That gives me a BMI of about 29. By their definition overweight, almost obese. Bwaa haa haa.

Check this out.

Imagine getting kicked out of the hospital because you were caught smoking in a designated smoking area. That’s one way of freeing up that care for someone more deserving.

My have we come a ways from the privacy of your papers.

We are ever closer to an old East-German culture where government flaks can demand our "papers" (even in electronic form) at any time. That's a lot "liberals" - for taking away our liberties.

You’re lucky if you don’t have to go to a Dr. I hate going but they’ve saved my life.

Seeing as most Americans are overweight I can see a backlash to this.

Check out how skinny you can be and still be “healthy.” I’m also 5-9 and pushing 170. I’m obese. I can be 5-9 and 125 and be in the healthy norm. WTF? 125 would be ok for a 12-13 year old.

Yes. I'm very interesting in seeing what will happen to the ~95% support Obama receives from blacks when it becomes evident that a very significant percentage of AA have a body mass index in the overweight or obese range

Not to worry - there'll be a special exemption for them. It will only apply to whites.

No they won’t. I never dreamed US citizens would let them do what they already have.

It has been easy as pie for them. They know we think it will get cured if we win an election. RINOs are good for something.

freeing up that care for someone more deserving

You know you hit on something saying it that way. While we all sit here and cry out woe, woe, woe and whoa! One must contemplate why?

If my tax dollars are going to be used for medical care for someone who refuses to change bad habits...is not the government just making that denial in the best interest of the taxpayer? To deliver those funds to someone more deserving?

Why do we have such an aversion to rationing in this manner?

I think it is something in our biblical upbringing about ...not judging a person. With the government healthcare the government must ...judge on behalf of the taxpayer. The government becomes godlike. The problem is with that role given over to the government...history demonstrates the great evil that is forthcoming from such situations.

People who get lots of speeding tickets. People who drink more than the government approves of, skateboarders and rock climbers, people with sit down jobs, people in jobs dealing with hazardous materials, firemen and police, soldiers, miners and loggers, people who eat more salt and sugar than the government deems safe, people with risky voting habits (you know, conservatives)

Just think of all the cows that can be milked to care for the chosen few.
