If you're sending your story to 'media', you've got to shorten it...a whole lot; if it's more than four sentences, it's down the black hole.
Local Media is the cheerleader for State and local government. They take money from government at all levels. Our local newspaper, the Fairfield California Daily Republic takes money from the US Air Force for the base newspaper AND they drop it off on our doorstep off base, too. They also echo like mynah birds any allegation the police department makes “the suspect did so and so”-—Even if what the cop’s are saying is LYING (later proven in court)-—That’s their MO!
