Of course, Obama has to make sure any hopes for a recovery in a Republican state like LA, are CRUSHED.

We the People are getting the “deep drilling” right now, but it’ll be restricted in November.

Obowma is hell bent on destroying the US offshore oil drilling industry. And then our economy. I guess no doubt about what Rev Wright was talking about anymore, is there. Hint, BLT is Marxism.

What was it about the inappropriateness of the drilling ban the court said that Obowma did not understand.

Just think how mad Americans will get once they understand you can refine coal into liquid fuel, gasoline and diesel, using 1920s technology. UT recently competed a study saying the cost of doing so would be less than $30 a barrel oil equivalent.

And then people will figure out how much of modern life depends on oil, and that’s not just fuel, things like iPhones. Start with plastics ... and things made of plastics.

So what happens, this gets taken to court and overturned again and then bambi issues another and another? Maybe it’s time judges started holding federal officials in contempt like they would for the rest of us.

It’s still an arbitrary and capricious moratorium. Salazar still can’t prove that a blanket ban is needed. He still can’t prove that the other drilling operations will cause imminent danger to the region. He’ll lose again.

"...the Obama administration on Monday announced a revised ban that it described as essential and appropriate..."

So, the first two bans were nonessential and inappropriate?

If gasoline is pushing $4 per gallon or there are lines at the pumps this fall, Democrats may become an endangered species.

praying that the Court will not only likewise reject this one, but will hold Salazar and Obama in contempt

“Of course, Obama has to make sure any hopes for a recovery in a Republican state like LA...”

Why do you think it's a Republican state? I mean, really?

They have had lots of bad Democrat Gov’s, and I recall one Repub. Gov going to prison (casino licensing, as I recall).

Really, the state is interesting, but IMHO it leans more left than right.

Why the O is acting this way I do no know - perhaps it's because Jindal is a Republican. I'm not sure the state is ‘R,’ though.

It Begins… First Oil Rig Relocates From Gulf to Foreign Waters

"As a result of the uncertainties surrounding the offshore drilling moratorium, we are actively seeking international opportunities to keep our rigs fully employed," Dickerson said. "We greatly regret the loss of U.S. jobs that will result from this rig relocation."

It is not just Gulf operations that are being effected either.

Judge, I understand you didn't like the last two models but I just got this new baby that came in. Low mileage and in great shape. You are going to love it.

Anybody else doing this would be hit with Contempt of Court so fast it would make their head swim. Odongo doesn’t understand the word “NO”. I’m not sure if its the “N” or the “O” he has problems with. Regardless of what it is, the judge needs to whack him a good one....maybe knock some sense in the man-child for the first time in his immature, spoon-fed life.

And of course we all know the Justice Dept. contains cutting edge experts on off-shore drilling.

After two court rulings against its six-month moratorium on deepwater oil and gas drilling, the Obama administration on Monday announced a revised ban that it described as essential and appropriate. The Interior Department said the revised ban incorporates "new evidence regarding safety concerns" as well as new procedures to gather industry feedback. Moreover, the revision suspends drilling not based on water depth, it said, "but on the basis of the drilling configurations and technologies."
Zero hasn't tried a moratorium on drilling through his own foot though...

Thanks OldDeckHand.

Bullcrap...where’s the lawsuit just like the last one; we won that one and this is no different. Each of the 5 Red states in the Gulf better be suing.
