Richard L. Rubenstein is a distinguished theologian and professor. a Yale Fellow, a Harvard PHD, and a contributing editor to the New English Review. Rubenstein is therefore not exactly the personification of a conspiracy nut. It is therefore bone chilling to hear from his lips that President Barack Obama would very much like to see the destruction of the State of Israel and her people, so long as his hands have personally not shed the blood

If the video correctly portrays President Obama's opinion then he really is. But, that is a big IF.

It provides an insight into his soul.

I sincerely believe he is a player on the End Time stage.

As Andrew Breitbart has said, the mainstream media does not skew their coverage in favor of Libs/Dems. They are one and the same. Were they to be more balanced in their coverage of events they would be self-inflicting a wound.

“I believe that he is a radical leftist with heavy Muslim sympathies. Maybe because of his Muslim family members, maybe because he sees the Muslims as members of the proletariat downtrodded by the oppressive and explotive capitalist West. Maybe both.”

Ding, Ding. We have a winner!

I'm not sure that this is true for the electoral vote.

The only state in 2008 in which Jewish votes could have possibly made the difference in the electoral vote was Florida. But even had McCain won Florida's electoral votes and everything else stayed the same, he would have been well short of the total needed for election.

...it's still a huge embarrassment, to me anyway.

No reason to take it personally. We all know you didn't vote for the Anointed One.

Hard to classify Jews as "secular" vs. "religious" be cause there are a wide variety of streams of Jewish thought and practice. And one can be both religious and secular ("secular" meaning avidly interested in the general society) or non-religious and non-secular. And of course, though religious Jews are more apt to be political conservatives and non-religious Jews are more apt to be political leftists, there a many exceptions to that pattern.

Given the demographics of New York and Florida...

New York hasn't even been "in play" in presidential elections in the last two decades, so Jews have little influence in voting there. Plus, it has been losing electoral votes every decade in my lifetime due to population egress (largely caused by leftist state and local policies, I might add). In 1932, when FDR ran for the presidency as NY's "favorite son" and governor, NY had 47 electoral votes, but today it has only 31, and will have one or two less by 2012.

You have a valid point about Florida, which is why the primary focus of campaigning for Jewish votes in recent presidential elections has been Florida, followed, BTW, not by New York, not by California, but by Pennsylvania and Ohio, since the latter two are considered "swing states".

As a Jewish Republican, I agree with you that there is reason to be optimistic that there will be a noticeable change in Jewish voting patterns in the next presidential election, especially if Obama is the 'Rat candidate. Yes, "hope and change", but not the way he would like it.

Of course the damage would be far less if he was removed and we found out we were wrong but there is actually ZERO chance that we are wrong about him. It was obvious BEFORE the election what he was if anyone paid attention. It is now as obvious as the sunrise that this man is an arch enemy of civilization. He wants to destroy western civilization in favor of an Islamic takeover. Of course he himself has no intention whatsoever of being governed by Sharia but he wants to see America governed by Sharia.

I doubt that Obama is a Muslim; however,”

Obama Sr was a Muslim.

The religion is passed down -mandatory & automatic- in the Muslim faith thru the FATHER.

In the Jewish religion- it passes thru the Mother to the children.

Therefore—NObama was born a Muslim & I believe, is still a Muslim. Connect that with the information about the non-attendance of the Obama’s at ANY known church in the past 17 months.

IF all the votes generated by ACORN were removed from the results—I think NObama swould have lost by at least 5 million votes. Some persons have declared that ACORN & it’s behavior created over 18 million votes.

There were voting districts where there were more votes CAST than the entire number of inhabitants of the area.
