LONDON -- Saudi Arabia has conducted tests to stand down its air defenses to enable Israeli jets to make a bombing raid on Iran’s nuclear facilities, The Times of London reported Saturday.
In the week that the U.N. Security Council imposed a new round of sanctions on Tehran, defense sources in the Gulf say that Riyadh has agreed to allow Israel to use a narrow corridor of its airspace in the north of the country to shorten the distance for a bombing run on Iran. To ensure the Israeli bombers pass without hindrance, Riyadh has carried out tests to make certain its own jets are not scrambled and missile defense systems not activated. Once the Israelis are through, the kingdom’s air defenses will return to full alert.
“The Saudis have given their permission for the Israelis to pass over and they will look the other way,” said a U.S. defense source in the area. “They have already done tests to make sure their own jets aren’t scrambled and no one gets shot down. This has all been done with the agreement of the [U.S.] State Department.”

That's because the Iranian's are not Arabs, they are Persians, therefore they are not true "Muslims" in much of the Arab world's eyes and never have been.
They’ll stand down their defenses for the outbound flight and turn them back on after the Israelis have done the difficult work for them. I wouldn’t trust them at all.
Well, that explains why the Iranians try so hard to look like “good” Muslims.

The House of Saud have a MUCH bigger problem than the US if Iran gets nuke capability.
They are glad to let Israel do their dirty work.

They would have to be very careful through Iraq. US Air Force doesn’t like unknowns flying in their area. If they go through Saudi Arabia, they will have clear skies it appears.
I would also bet the Air Defenses are heaviest on the Iran - Iraq border.
I have been telling you this for at least a year now. Saudi Arabia has more to fear than Israel.
The mullahs are religious freaks who covet Mecca. Mecca is the center of Islam and if they control Mecca they control the haj and by extension Islam.
The only surprise is that It was a public statement.
W, that is George Bush, conquered Iraq and changed the whole mid east. In doing so he exposed Iran to be the dangerous aggressor it is. Saudi Arabia and all the GCC are in peril and will take part in the attack on Iran when it occurs.
Obama et al either don’t realize the game they are playing is obsolete or like the old game so much they continue even though everybody else is playing the new game.
