Jerusalem has belonged to the Jews since King David captured it in war against a tribe that no longer exists, in roughly 1000 BC. If capturing territory gives you title, then the Jews gained title then or more recently when they retook their land. If capturing territory does not give you title, then the Islamic conquerors who took the holy land never had title. Either way, the surviving culture with the best claim to the land of Israel is the Jews.
In Helen’s case I’m willing to *not* ban the burka!

Once the ancient right of conquest is abolished as a basis for legal land claims there is no end to the absurdities.

This bloated walrus-like ignoramus either doesn’t know, or won’t acknowledge, that much of the land occupied by Jews was legitimately purchased from Arabs, before and after the Partition.
The wily Arabs were only too glad to snooker foolish Jews by selling off land they had long considered worthless and barren. Imagine the chagrin of the lazy Arabs when industrious Jews turned much of the land into lush, productive farms, profitable industries and clean, modern, comfortable towns and cities.
Look what the muslims did to the productive resources the Israelis abandoned when they turned over the Gaza strip.
If the west had not developed the oil field of the mid-east so lazy Arabs could sit on their butts and collect petro-dollars a billion muslims would still not know the purpose of toilet paper.
