Now this is what I call a Law & Order twist: NBC is declining to comment on a Deadline report claiming the network has opted to not to renew the long-running procedural for what would have been a record-breaking 21st season. If true, it means Dick Wolf will have to settle for simply tying Gunsmoke‘s record as TV’s longest-running drama series.

I heard an interview with the Wolf one time. He designed the show so that police would dominate the first half hour and the DA the second. He thought NBC would split the show. Even today, the arrest usually comes at the bottom of the hour.
I sure hope so. I can’t stand that show.
L&O reruns are so pervasive I’m surprised there isn’t a L&O channel. Well, what will be the next cop and trial show? How about L&O Free Republic with a conservative slant and the laws being enforced.

I have never watched it and don’t know anything about it, but this is old news... law and order was cancelled on January 20, 2009.

Great news. About a month ago I saw a discussion that focused on the radical liberalism of Dick Wolfe. I had years ago begun to resent the leftist political dialogue the characters spouted. I have not watched Law and Order since that discussion.
Perhaps others have done the same thing and the ratings have tanked.. I would like to think so.
Law and Order:
People with guns are always bad guys. Even if they aren’t the person that did it, they are still a bad guy somehow. They also have a record that would have made them in eligible to buy a gun in any State, so they got it at a gun show.
The man did it, even if it’s not till some plot twist in the last 30 seconds of the episode.

According to this show, the Aryan Nation is responsible for most of the crime in NYC. The show is nothing but a pathetic liberal hallucination.
Every other week they have a murder where the motivation is provided by evil republican policies.

L&O was at one time a decent program. In the past several yeast it has gone completely down hill.
Liberal crap show. It was not totally insanely liberal when the great Michael Moriarty was on the show.
