No one ever accused the politicians running D.C. of being intelligent, but this bizarre, suicidal measure couldn't have been conceived by George Orwell on drugs! With the violent crime rate out-of-control already, it's only further proof that the inmates are running the asylum.

The situation seems pretty easy to resolve. Every state that wants them simply pass a law allowing them, every state that does not pass an Arizona style law. Everyone shifts to their new residences, perhaps with the states in favor paying for the moving expenses.

I share your fear. But sometimes nations, like some people, have to hit rock bottom before they wake up to reality and put things in order.
