President Obama ends his radio ad for Specter on a predominately black radio station in Philadelphia with this message: "I love you and I love Arlen Specter. I appreciate you guys. Thank you."

This is, of course, a pre-meditated non-truth. (And an horrific insult to the intelligence of the good people of Pennsylvania.)
The Dems neither like nor trust Mister Specter any more than did we. (By comparison, our British cousins do not have a holiday for Benedict Arnold.)
When Mister Specter leaves office, he will be without friends, and deservedly so.
