Who is this man?
He was identified by Dana Loesch (as the person who called the SWAT team on the Tea Party Demonstrators at Quincy, Illinois.

Thanks to penelopesire for posting the picture on Free Republic.
Thank you, Dan.
I googled the name and he (if its the same one) is a conservative columnist? Weird. Confusing....
With all due respect, a private citizen, assuming that’s what he is, cannot “call out the SWAT Team.”
He can call the cops or somebody else in government, but the government peeps make the decision who to send.
Doesn’t it require a LEO of some rank, or maybe the governor or mayor to call in the (almost always wholly unnecessary) SWAT team?
Doug Edelman is the one who said that this unidentified man ordered the SWAT team into action. I am trying to find out the identity of the man in the picture.
He could be a Secret Service guy. Look at the button on his lapel, and there was another photo of him standing next to SWAT police.

For yours, it looks like this:

(The <P> starts a new paragraph for anything following the photo)
Oops. Thanks. I thought it seemed strange? lol
I read somewhere the Deputy Mayor called them out.
I haven’t followed the granny/swat story at all - don’t even know where it happened - but some of us are always ready for a good scavenger hunt.
Looks like Secret Service to me. Note the earpiece and cord coming from his ear.
Thank you. I’ll try and remember.
Is he wearing a ballistic vest?
The SWAT team were only there for 15 minutes. I guess he viewed the situation and decided the grannies were getting out of hand. Lethal weapons like knitting needles in their purses perhaps...
“Looks like Secret Service to me.”

If so, next to the Kennedy assassination and the Reagan shooting, the Secret Service’s darkest day.
Civvies + ear piece + bullet proof vest under shirt = Secret Service.
Stop telling secrets!!!
