Just man up.
Take it like a man.
As I ponder the very real threat that we are losing our country and other such things, it is comforting to me to know that someone is thinking about my balls. Although, I would rather is wasn’t some guy named Kevin.
As I recall, that was met with tremendous laughter on shows like "The View". Imagine if a man who caught his wife in bed with another man, super-glued her breasts together, or other things. I imagine, that wouldn't be met with as much elation. Just a guess.
Don’t join in this moral equivalency and don’t whine like a feminist if some guy gets his balls glued together because his mistress is angry. If the hags on the VIEW joke about it, while showing anger when similar things happen to women, it actually proves they agree with me - Men ARE the stronger sex.
And if a band of rogue women somewhere want to try and mutilate my genitals, let them try.
To me this falls into the same distasteful bucket of:
(1) men in commercials are poorly dressed, poorly groomed idiots, jerks and social misfits being eye-rolled by women who REALLY know what’s right.
(2) women on TV slapping/punching/physically assaulting men and it is ALWAYS portrayed as justified.
(3) as above, but change justified to “funny”
(4) petite women who can engage a large, physically fit man in hand-to-hand ‘combat’ or martial arts and readily beat him to a pulp. Having been in martial arts years ago, I can tell you that without surprise there wasn’t a woman capable of hitting me hard enough to knock me down/ out. Notwithstanding a kick to the gonads which was prohibited.
(5) men are pigs constantly reinforced
(6) fathers are abusers and/or un-needed
(7) masculinity is an illness unless you want a jely jar opened
(8) the women in Home Depot/Lowes/Sears/Ace know more about tools and trades than men.
(9) MEn ought to be cowed by the women in their lives
(10) Strong men are bad, strong women are good.
but to sum it all up, yeah, it pi$$es me off to see this depicted as no big deal on TV.
I’ve heard “Ow! My Balls!” on the Violence Channel gets boffo ratings...
I need to go dig out my John Wayne Bobbitt “Love Hurts” t-shirt....
That article just kind of leaps out at ya and nails ya right in the .. uhhh.. (must read article.. take 2 tylenols first)
I do agree that there is a double-standard, but I’m sorry, seeing someone get hit in the crotch really is funny (with a few exceptions). That, and being tasered.
It’s a guy thing.
