Kern County/Bakersfield has TWO events planned for this week: the second annual taxpayer revolt on April 15; and the Pre-Tea Party Street Rally on Saturday April 10.

SATURDAY: Join us as we promote the biggest Tea Party this city has ever seen. We will meet on Saturday from 3pm-5pm 24'th Street and Oak (Beach Park - Cancer Survivor's Monument) to promote the BIG tax day tea party event to take place on Thursday, April 15. Join us for as little, or as long as you can. This is a meet and greet for people who will be helping out with or participating in the tea party rally during which we will be making signs.

April 15th: Come join us on April 15th, 2010 as we commemorate “We the People” and focus on the future of Reviving Our Republic. We will be gathering at the Liberty Bell on the corner of Truxtun and Chester from 4:30-6:30. Bring your enthusiasm and celebrate the positive impacts the Tea Party has made on the political landscape!
