Just got back from Holy Thursday Mass awhile ago.
We started a tradition to have roast lamb on this evening after Mass anumber of years ago. I cook it over a grill in the afternoon, and then keep it warm in the oven until we come back from church. We also have salad, rolls, and wine. A wonderful commemoration of the Passover Meal.
OH that sounds good Jay (except the lamb).. LOL
You can have my lamb & I will have extra wine!

Yes - He came to seek and to save the lost:
He died on that cruel cross to take away the sins of the world (which involves so much we can hardly take it all in!)
To save the lost (that’s all of us before we know Him)
Save = SOZO in Greek = to make whole (is one of the meanings) Jesus came to make us whole!
The saving, healing, life transforming river that flowed from that cross - the river of the blood of Jesus - is still flowing today. It is an eternal river.
We are all broken and need His healing, forgiving, saving love of Jesus.
This Good Friday, may all come and “dive in” to that River!
He will wash away all our sins and make us every bit whole and - and as we know through His Resurrection - He will make us new!

How wonderful to know as we see the skies darkening (the evil wax more evil), we also see that HIS sky is brightening, His River is flowing, reaching the entire world, and we are also seeing the great end of the age Harvest sweeping across every home, city, state, nation, and the world!!!
So, as we see those things happen, let us keep our eyes on Jesus - who is doing a great and awesome thing in these last days - He is preapring His Bride for His soon return - in ways that I personally had no idea until just these last few weeks - would occur before His Rapture of His beloveds!
Jesus would that NO ONE would perish!
He is pulling out all the stops to bring in as many as possible “whosoevers” before that great snatch occurs!
So while we know the “bad stuff” is happening with increasing intensity and frequency, we also know that Jesus in the midst of every storm going on, calming the winds, and the waves of evil that are trying to destroy so many - but Jesus is HERE TO SAVE - and HE IS VICTOR!

I just returned from a Maundy Thursday service where a Jews for Jesus missionary did a presentation on Christ in the Passover. It was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen.
