Easter greetings from the DollyCali Household! (that includes my invalid 91 year old mom, 2 dogs & an assortment of kitties)

It is already good Friday in Europe & the Mideast.

I had planned on watching The Passion of the Christ, as I do each Thursday or Friday before Easter.. BUT I seem to not have it & recall loaning it to “someone” last spring.. sigh! No clue who & I no doubt did not put my name on CD/case

Mom & I will be spending a relatively quiet weekend & I will make her a ham dinner (I am a boring vegetarian)..

The You Tube is an interesting song. I LOVE Prince but have never heard this number. The lyrics are posted. This was from my church this past weekend. I made a video with my digital camera & played with the video program on my computer & came up with this YouTube to share. Our church meets in a Cinemark movie theater & is VERY contemporary in worship but very conservative in doctrine.

I will be checking in & Out throughout the weekend.

I want to thank Billie for her “backgrounds, borders etc for the HTML. She was my HTML teacher at FR & it is fun to do this “stuff” on occasion. We did it faithfully all the time at the Finest over the years & I will admit to being out of practice

I had the honor of reading at tonite’s service for Holy Thursday. My first major service.
I also have the honor of working for a Priest. The best job I have ever had in my life.

I have always said that the message of Christmas is “God keeps his promises”.. I think Easter/Resurrection is the same.. “God keeps his promises”.

The next promise is the second coming.. any time now is fine for me!

I just returned from a Maundy Thursday service where a Jews for Jesus missionary did a presentation on Christ in the Passover. It was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen.

how wonderful! I would love to find a Jewish/Christian church. I have heard so many great things about “completed Jews” and their witness.

I follow many jewish traditions. I feel it is NOT necessary but somehow I feel good doing the things I know Jesus & the disciples did ... Keeping in mind all the time the teachings and warnings in Hebrews.

I do observe the sabbath, various feasts & try to get to the local synagogues on occasion to share services & scripture study classes.

I am active in a fundamental christian church BTW...
