The Despicable "Family Guy" Hate Piece

PhotobucketThe Despicable "Family Guy" Hate Piece

Few things have ever moved me to rage as deeply as the injustice of the judicial execution of our beloved Terri Schindler Schiavo in 2005. The drama leading up to her unwarranted killing had all the barbarism of the brutal war on unborn babies with all its deceitful propaganda and murderous manipulation. Of course we expect that this is the way pagan killers operate, but we don't have to sit back and let it take over our culture. As we approach the 5th anniversary of Terri's death on March 31st, we now face a new outrage that has been perpetrated by the forces of evil that inhabit Secular City.

Last Sunday's prime time cartoon "Family Guy" episode renewed a malicious defamation of Terri's dignity and suffering. I say "renewed" because calumnies and mockery were rampant in the media when she was being executed. The "Family Guy" show featured a mindless group of children on stage acting out a mocking play about the person and manner of Terri's death referring to her with vicious epithets. I almost couldn't watch the few minutes that it took for them to shame to the depths of hell the sanctity of her life and death. I am not going to describe to you the hate-filled scene; you can look at it on the link if you wish, but suffice it to say, this kind of hate speech will never be called to task by the regulatory agencies of the pagan administration in power right now. Decent people like you and me have to object to it.

"The 'Family Guy' defamation is a piece of satanic cultural trash, and it needs to be called what it is. Any producer, artist, sponsor, advertiser, public relations agent or salesman who has or had anything to do with it should be utterly ashamed of their connection to this piece of filth" --Fr. Thomas J. Euteneuer.
Being one of only twelve official Church exorcists in the United States today, Fr. Euteneuer surely knows what he's talking about in regard to the devil's workings. Here's a great article by Selwyn Duke addressing this very issue. Our problem is a lack of health care -- the moral variety

Our family saw this on EWTN News.

Shockingly sick.

We just got numb for a second there.

This episode of adult Cartoons just passed the test into being apart of the Culture of Death.

Really unbelievable.

Prayers for the Terrys family in such a immorral crude misrepensatation of her Holy Catholic Life.

Lord Have Mercy.

We don’t watch TV in our house just because of garbage that passes as “humor”.

The hounds of hell mocked Christ and they will continue to mock the ones Christ loves. Their heinous depravity only shows up more clearly the beauty of the Lord and everyone He has redeemed - regardless of our human weakness or condition in life.

I thought for a moment on reading this that he said it was satirical rather than satanic.

Michael Schiavo was infamously reported to have wondered out loud when the “bitch would die.” From reading what this says about the plot of the show, it sounds like by having Terry called all kinds of dirty names, it is poking mockery at Mr. Schiavo.

Shockingly sick.

Your described it very well. It's beyond whatever you'd imagine acceptable.

So why are you watching teeheevee anyway?

I take a quick spin through teeheevee broadcast and cable channels sometimes when I travel and have some downtime -- and see almost nothing but mindless trash (at the best).

TV is today a wasteland of garbage and dishonesty. It's not always been that way though I tuned into TV news in 1980 and tuned out in 1981. Cable went away (unlamented) in 1990, and I don't recall when I last watched broadcast TV (except the occasional football game) since the mid-Noughties.

Don't miss it a bit.

We are not big TV viewers (most of it IS trash like you say), except for sports (we *do* watch LOTS of sports and also EWTN and some good old movies too). I came to learn about this particular episode of Family Guy via the Web, and I receive e-mails from Fr. Euteneuer when he updates his site as well.

Hard to believe Rush pals around with Seth McF. The words degenerate and reprobate minds applies appropriately.

The fascists have even invaded the Simpsons, with a non storyline invasion by MooseHell.

There wasn't even an attempt at humor. Just the belittling of our military.

They passed up a perfectly good chance to use a Wookie growl when MooseHell twisted off the door of the helicopter.

I mean it's been over a year now and they haven't come up with a single BO body odor joke yet!!!

“Family Guy” is one of the most dangerous shows out there. It targets kids but really a lot of young adults watch it. The show bashes conservatives every chance it possibly gets, which is about every episode.

The only way to stop the sewage flow is for everyone to start unplugging their TVs en masse. If you don’t like all the turds floating around, get out of the septic tank!

Satire has to offend. It’s value is to challenge beliefs and to change them or reinforce. It serves to instigate conversation on topics we choose to ignore. Often, the satirist ridicules his own beliefs to cause those who believe otherwise to question their own principles or lack of same. Get over it.

I don't watch Family Guy or similar type shows. This was "announced" via the Web on Jill Stanek, and further spoken about through Fr. Euteneuer. Why swear (and YELL!) at me regarding poor television? How much better is that type of response than the show itself?

Bobby Schindler, Terri's brother, doesn't agree with you:
"In my opinion," he continued, "this is a form of hate speech. There's other ways to make people laugh. This certainly isn't one of them" --Bobby Schindler.
Instead of "Get[ting] over it," I'm sticking with Fr. Euteneuer when he refers to the episode as "satanic cultural trash." He should know. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, he's an exorcist.

Great comment! (ty) My husband watches television with remote in hand so he can switch from stations that air commercials that are mini nuggets of "garbage" themselves. If it wasn't for our love of sports (and Fr. Corapi, etc. on EWTN), we wouldn't watch much television either.

St. Michael, the Archangel, pray for US!

Our family has acute senses of humor, and we enjoy some really wacky stuff, but Family Guy, as you say, truly is "one of the most dangerous shows out there." This particular episode is well beyond the scope of acceptable. I feel terrible for the Schindlers, who are one of the strongest Catholic families I've ever witnessed, that they have to endure such pain right before the anniversary of their sweet daughter's death through judicial murder. [But, of course, this is Lent, where suffering abounds.]

What brings me solace is to think of the exact moment Mr. Schindler greeted his perfectly healthy daughter, Terri, in heaven. What a beautiful, beautiful family.
