Natural born citizen? check.
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

Oh no! Another Obama Believer:

Cue: “The Believers” by the Monkees

I think Al Shanklin should do a parody on the Monkees’ song, “I’m a Believer!”

And then I saw Obama’s face
Now I’m a believer
Not a trace
Of doubt in my mind
I’m in love
I’m a believer
I couldn’t leave Obama
If I tried

And this is the extent of the Birther “evidence”. If you don’t believe the rather insane theory that a man could get thru the primaries, general election, and 1 year in office all the while being ineligible for the presidency, you must be an o-bot. Or you hate the constitution. All cause you don’t beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllllllllliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. You heretic.

I am no birther - but exactly what is the problem with a State requiring a candidate to demonstrate he is qualified before putting him on the ballot? Even a twenty-one year old has to show proof before buying beer. Surely, asking the President to show proof of constitutional eligibility is not too much

Because if questions don’t have any ground behind them, then they weren’t worth asking in the first place. A lot of people have what they perceive as being very legitimate questions about the earth being flat, but I can go outside and observe nature and the sky and discern that they’re either poorly educated or just nuts. Similarly, I can take one look at the only bit of evidence that’s of been presented, the short form certificate and conclude that you are either willingly blind or just insance.

One piece of evidence? You are a loon. There are thousands of pieces of evidence of a massive fraud — INCLUDING the facts of to whom that purported certificate was provided, and the amazing fact that no one else, no reputable document examiner has been allowed to see it since.

Let’s walk outside together, walk down the steps of your porch. Look around — what do you see? Any sign that the ground you stand on is the surface of a sphere? What sign is that? Tell us!

So either put up the evidence that Obama is not a natural born citizen or admit that you have none and that the whole thing is a political ploy
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Let's turn this around. There is NO certifiable evidence that Obama **is** a natural born citizen or even a citizen, at all! We don't really even know his age.

One more thing:

I stopped loooong ago worrying about what the mainstream media thinks about conservatives. They will hate us and mock us not matter what we do.

They mocked us about Lewinsky,...and they still mocked after the blue dress.

Conservatives MUST not govern our action based on the reaction of the mainstream media.

Define the historical/legal/constitutional phrase "natural born citizen" and the proof will be right in front of you --

Now we need State laws to ensure compliance with the U.S. constitution. What’s wrong with this picture?

A lot -- because whoever controls the Secretary of State's Office in those states will control those state laws.

they’re really concerned with is making sure that conservatives are made to look bad, or at least give the talking heads on MSNBC and CNN a reason to say that both “extremes” are the same. I will absolutely hold anyone who claims to be on my side to a higher standard

Anyone who is afraid of what MSNBC and CNN says about them has skin and convictions too thin to hold anyone to any standard.

I am starting to believe winoneforthegipper is obama himself. He states the same points, with no facts, no links. He is definately an Obama worshipper nevertheless, if he isn’t obama himself.

“The majority of people find this nonsense absurd. It does nothing to damage Obama and everything to damage the people are against Obamas’ policies.”

Sez you. This is the talking point used to damp down legitimate queries. Nobody spends millions to hide something unless they are deathly afraid of exposure.

A birther huh? How about a person who cares about our constitution! I don’t have time for people like you that act like we “birthers” are some how less American than you. Bye bye.

You are a wise man Uncle Chip. George Soros is behind the curtain trying to gain control.

The Republic is at risk.

When you say something like this, it ensures that no one who has any sense of reason will read beyond that sentence. I made the point that Birtherism is absurd. You, out of whatever desire you have to miss the point, equate Birtherism with constitutionalism. The two couldn't be any more different, even if Birthers do attempt to use the constitution as a tool to make actual conservatives out to be whackjobs.

Can you put it in simple words for me: What evidence have we seen that Obama is a natural born citizen of the United States? It bothers me that he's playing games with his birth certificate, whether he's doing it as a political tactic or because there is a real problem with something on that form (if it exists). Proving eligibility should be a fundamental requirement. If my kids had tried using a short form like the one he released, they wouldn't have been permitted to get a driver's license. Why should the prerequisites for occupying the White House be less strict than for getting a driver's license?

Seeing your opponents branded as irrational conspiracy-theorists while you push insane and costly measures thru a rubber-stamp Congress: Priceless.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

You are worried about what people will think of us? It's time to grow some gonads and “man-up”!

Worry about what people think???? That's what 7th grade little girls do!!! Unbelievable!!!

Grown up conservatives have the self confidence to do what is right regardless of whether anyone snickers at us.

The following is a poem by Rudyard Kipling about being **MAN**!

Rudyard Kipling

If

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build ‘em up with wornout tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on”;

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!
