I suppose Obama will claim prior election to office
certifies his claim to citizenship, but what if he
has to certify AGAIN?

Does South Carolina HB3389 answer the question of what a natural born citizen means in respect to the bill?
I would LOVE to see that.

I doubt it, since he is acting president and never met the requirements for office, he is a usurper (used to describe either an illegitimate or controversial claimant to power).

And what has prompted this type of legislation? We all know that the birthers are a bunch of wing nuts, right?
Why do we feel we need theese laws?

I think this is the best way to handle the issue. Throw down the gauntlet for 2012. Removing him now could lead to president Pelosi.

The socialist is a usurper, but that doesn’t have to be proven for this to help. If the requirement to be on a state’s ballot is proof of natural born citizenship, then he cannot be listed for reelection in that state. I doubt that enough Obama voters can spell the socialist’s name consistently enough for him to carry any state in which he’s not listed for them. In addition, even if it’s states that he loses by default, he’s going to look pretty bad to the independent voters in swing states if he’s unwilling to provide a BC to get on the ballot in these states.

Natural born citizen? check.
Thirty-five years old? check.
14 years a resident? check.
All checks out. Now, of course, the experience to be president is lacking, but he certainly meets all of the requirements.

Wow, if you really buy that, then I’ve got some ocean-front property to sell you. The fact is that these are silly legislative responses to a fictional problem that was imagined out of whole cloth by liberal radical Phillip J. Berg and PUMA Clintonistas. The majority of people find this nonsense absurd. It does nothing to damage Obama and everything to damage the people who are against Obama’s policies.

Go away if you don’t like the fact that some of us want to see a “real” B.C. from your guy. You don’t spend millions in legal fees for something you can get for about 12 bucks.
To: conservativegramma
That's 4 now. This is the way to go IMO. All it really takes is one or two - if Obama fails to provide documentation to meet those states' requirements, the gig is up.
