Political expedience can always be counted on...which is what makes this so unique and frankly dangerous. This is suicidal politically, and Obama seems not to care. The smart thing to do would be to tack to the center, but he looks prepared to sacrifice the whole Congress and a second term in order to ‘achive’ his goal. My friends we have a radical here, with a radical’s agenda, and he’s going for broke. Beware.

Why are you yelling at me? I didn’t say that. But, FYI, there is a difference between democratic Washington and Democratic Washington. That said, the fact that the Democrats control the capital right now is a point well taken.
They sure are going to ram it through in order to put all of those middle-persons back to work in the middle of another racket. The problem with their plan is the default just down the road. Not a whole lot of usefulness comes from middle-persons.
