You nailed it. The DC politicians don’t really fear a second civil war, states secceeding, etc. But they are terrified of the Berlin wall,, of the Orange Revolution in Ukraine, etc. A sea of people who will not obey, who demand they be heard scares them to no end.

The left thought they had a monopoly on that,, so they let it become a cultural norm here. They never thought it would be us doing it to them.

Are Boehner and company bent over, grasping their ankles and prepared to be “rammed”? I wonder what the Las Vegas line would be on such a possibility?

The libtards appear to be charging toward a tipping point that will allow them to declare martial law, and then ALL BETS are OFF!

It’s time to take back the country.

time for a congressional frog march. Enough is enough. The only thing they will understand is to start marching them out in chains and hanging them

Rename, repackage, rewrite it a tad smaller, and sell another pig in a poke.

Tennessee has joined several other states in trying to pass a Health Care Freedom Act. NO COLAs for granny, retired Military or retired fed employees. BIG NEW fees for Tricare for Life retired over 65 Military's secondary health ins. (DOD bill already passed, delayed but goes into effect 2011)

TRI CARE FOR LIFE This from a google search:

http://economicspolitics.blogspot.com/2009/05/tricare-for-life-is-obama-trying-to.html

This option would help reduce the costs of TFL, as well as costs for Medicare, by introducing minimum out-of pocket requirements for beneficiaries. Under this option, TFL would not cover any of the first $525 of an enrollee’s cost-sharing liabilities for calendar year 2011 and would limit coverage to 50 percent of the next $4,725 in Medicare cost sharing that the beneficiary incurred. (Because all further cost sharing would be covered by TFL, enrollees could not pay more than $2,888 in cost sharing in that year.)

Congress plans to block Tricare fee increases
http://www.armytimes.com/news/2009/10/military_tricarefees_blocked_100709w

By Rick Maze - Staff writer, Oct 7, 2009

Tricare fee increases imposed last week by the Defense Department will be repealed by a provision of the compromise 2010 defense authorization bill unveiled Wednesday by House and Senate negotiators.

Snip

The fee increases were announced on Sept. 30 and took effect on Oct. 1, but the defense bill, HR 2647, includes a provision barring any fee increases until the start of fiscal 2011.

Snip

Retired Army Maj. Gen. Bill Matz, president of the National Association for Uniformed Services, said the announcement of fee increases was shocking considering that the Obama administration promised earlier this year to hold off on any new fee Tricare fee increases until fiscal 2011.

“President Obama and DoD assured NAUS and the entire military family earlier this year that there would rightly be no increases in any Tricare fees” in fiscal 2010, Matz said. “We took them at their word, and I can’t believe that a co-pay increase like this was allowed to go forward,” he added.

Bambi doesn't keep his promises...so buyer beware.

I agree that the Republican lawmakers should meet
with Obama IF they utilize the opportunity to lay
out their ideas. That way when the Rats finally ram
their crap through at least the masses will have
had the benefit of knowing just what could have
been. I can see some good sound bites for the
congressional campaign here.

"...Make them call out the Army."

I'm not sure we want that...yet.

It would give obama the excuse he wants to declare martial law, which could be the beginning of a military coup.

This whole pushy, pushy act might be his way to trying to pull us into a reaction that would - in his mind - justify calling in the military and then all bets are off...INCLUDING ALL ELECTIONS.

The last I heard there were over 100 democrats in the house that were "if'y" about this healthcare bill...so it's his own party that is holding up his precious obamacare...not the Republicans.

I think the best bet would be a a quick note from the GOP, rescinding the acceptance to meet with him; note should say:

Mr. president,

After seeing your press released previews and "bullet points" on your proposed "all new" healthcare bill we find that it has no substantial differences between your "new and improved" version and the previously released Senate version of the bill, at least as presented so far.

Based on those facts, we feel that the proposed meeting would be a waste of valuable time as we really have no interest in supporting the healthcare bill, either in its current "Senate" or "house" form(s), or your proposed "revision".

Please note that the net loss of support from the GOP for you, is zero, as no Republicans have given their support to the final Senate version of the healthcare bill.

As you are aware, seeking GOP support would only be a "workaround" for you to make up for the lack of support from your own party on either of these bills.

We feel that this meeting is to try and force the Democrat, i.e. your version of healthcare, peppered with the threat of "reconciliation" passage if the GOP will not offer support. That solution, Mr. pResident, is based on intimidation and threats, and is NOT "bipartisan" politics.

We must remain faithful to the American People and the vast majority of the medical professionals who have overwhelmingly stated that they will not accept any version of government run health insurance, a.k.a. "socialized medicine".

Therefore, in an effort to keep our role in this matter honest and above board, we respectfully decline your invitation for a "bipartisan" summit meeting on this matter.

Sincerely,

The Republican Party

So True!! I am old enough to remember all the student marches during Vietnam. The community organizer-in-chief taught people to make their voices be heard by agitit-prop. Now, I think, OUR voices will be heard by The One as sit-ins, marches etc break out all over this still free land. We shall see if he chooses a path like Tianamen Square or a Castro/Chavez like response by hitting back with our military (who I hope refuse to obey his orders!!!)
