Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown took a swipe at Vice President Joe Biden today -- saying that President Obama's No. 2 was “off base” when he said the Republican get his facts straight when it comes to military tribunals and whether he is aware that terrorists have the right to a lawyer.
“It was insulting,” Brown, a critic of Obama during his recent Senate campaign, told Politico.com.
The comments came a day after Biden blasted Brown during an appearance on CBS's “Face the Nation" when he said he didn't “know whether the new senator from Massachusetts understands: When you get tried in a military tribunal, you get a lawyer, too.”
“He’s trying to give me a lesson on military law, and I didn’t think it was appropriate,” said Brown. “And I thought he was off base when it comes to explaining to the American people that somehow I need a lesson on whether people get attorneys -- of course they get attorneys. There’s a difference as to what type of attorney they’re going to get and when they’re going to get that attorney, and how are they treated, and what rights do they in fact get.”
The newly elected lawmaker, who served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard for 30 years, added, “I know the military rules and regulations and procedures from A to Z."
Biden's comments are part of the Obama administration's push to defend its controversial, and unpopular, plan to try 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four cohorts in Manhattan federal court -- just a few blocks from Ground Zero -- instead of a miliary tribunal.

Senator Scott Brown is right on. Joe Biden is now, not only the dumbest man in the entire universe, but he is now certifiably insane. You Democrat folks out there better wake up and get anti-American, socialist/communist/facist, Muslim, POTUS, Barack Hussein Obama to resign, along with Joe Biden or better yet, if they do not resign impeach both of them and, fire Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House and Harry Reid as Senate Majority leader. Failure to do those things will destroy the Democrat Party come November.

Lt.Col. Oliver North testifying at the Iran Contra hearings during
the Reagan Administration.
There was Ollie in front of God and country getting the third degree,
but what he said was stunning!
He was being drilled by a senator,
‘Did you not recently spend close
to $60,000 for a home security system?’
Ollie replied, ‘Yes, I did, Sir.’
The senator continued,
trying to get a laugh out of the audience, ‘Isn’t that just a little excessive?’
‘No, sir,’ continued Ollie.
‘No? And why not?’ the
senator asked.
‘Because the lives of my family and I were threatened, sir.’
‘Threatened? By whom?’ the senator questioned.
‘By a terrorist, sir’ Ollie answered.
‘Terrorist? What terrorist could
possibly scare you that much?’
‘His name is Osama bin Laden,
sir’ Ollie replied.
At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn’t pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn’t.
A couple of people laughed at the attempt.
Then the senator continued.
‘Why are you so afraid of this man?
the senator asked.
‘Because, sir, he is the most
evil person alive that I know of’,
Ollie answered.
‘And what do you recommend we
do about him?’ asked the senator.
‘Well, sir, if it was up to me,
I would recommend that an
assassin team be formed to
eliminate him and his men from
the face of the earth.’
The senator disagreed with this approach, and that was all that
was shown of the clip.
By the way, that senator was Al Gore!

Internet hoax. Oliver North had the system installed because of threats from Abu Nidal. Biden was not the questioner, it was committee counsel Nelds.

Senator Brown is a JAG officer! Quoting FRom Senator Brown’s official bio:
“Senator Brown is a graduate of Wakefield High School, Tufts University, and Boston College Law School. He is a practicing attorney, and a 29-year member of the Massachusetts National Guard, where he currently holds the rank of Lt. Colonel in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Brown was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service in homeland security after the attacks of September 11, 2001.”
Senator Brown is far more qualified to comment on this subject than is Obozo’s butt buddy!
