Joe the Plumber became a household name during Sen. John McCain's 2008 campaign, but now the man also known as Sam Wurzelbacher has harsh words for the former Republican presidential candidate.
"I don't owe him s---," Wurzelbacher said about McCain over the weekend. "He really screwed my life up is how I look at it."
Wurzelbacher made the comments at a campaign event for state Republicans in Pennsylvania, according to radio reporter Scott Detrow
"McCain was trying to use me," Wurzelbacher said. "I happened to be the face of middle Americans. It was a ploy."
He went on to say McCain "is no public servant."
He says he dislikes McCain so much these days that he can't bring himself to support Sarah Palin either because she is campaigning for McCain's re-election.
At the same event, Wurzelbacher made some comments supportive of Barack Obama, saying those who question whether the president was born in the U.S. "belittle and set back" the conservative movement.
He said he appreciates Obama for his straightforwardness: "I think his ideology is un-American, but he's one of the more honest politicians. At least he told us what he wanted to do."
And he finds Obama "honest?" Obama told us during the campaign what he wants to do? Sorry Joe, Obama never promised during the campaign to destroy private health insurance, to put terrorists on trial in civilian courts, to propose hiking dozens and dozens of taxes including now leaving the door open to hiking taxes on those making under $250K, and doubling the debt run up by every president from Washington to W. Bush in just 5 years, doubling it in 10 and hiking spending in his new budget to a record 25.9% of GNP, a record outside of WW2, and taking the US debt load to an economically catastophic 101% of GNP from the 40% Bush left it at in just a few years. Sounds to me like Obama's people might be threatening this guy with the IRS and using him for their own purposes.
He just wants persecutions from city, state, and federal agencies to stop. IRS audits, license queries, tax filings, licensing fees, private investigations and the like....can’t blame him I guess.
Joe turned into a media whore and his 15 minutes are over. Now, he’s willing to say or do anything to get it back.

No, candidate Obama LIED his way into the Oval Office. Those of us who looked further than the stories that Big Media was feeding us KNEW how he would act. But Zero was never honest about it. If he had told the truth about how he would govern he would have not been elected.

Seems to me the best way to do that would be to go to the gun turrets and take on the administration that's abusing its power to turn the IRS on him and other enemies of Obama. He ought to be getting on Fox News and any other outlet that will take him (which would probably only be conservative talk shows---we know CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS wouldn't allow the Messiah's image to be sullied) and expose what the Obama Chicago street thug administration is doing to him. With conservative news and talk shows's reach, at some point the pressure is going to mount on the administration and the p.r. damage will force their hand to relent. Instead I guess Joe has developed a bad case of Stockholm Syndrome.
It is ridiculous to idolize a person such as Joe the Plumber. It was waste of time for people to expend so much time and tape over a guy who could turn coat in a second.
But of course when you're drowning in the McCain candidacy, I suppose any straw in the torrent seems a salvation.
I still get a dull sense in the pit of my stomach as I remember voting for him. Horrible.
