Rachel Maddow Alleges Black Candidate Supports Jim Crow Voting Laws

Leftists can only succeed if good men don’t point at them and laugh. Ridicule, sneers and insults aimed at the right have become a trademark of MSNBC’s commentators, but Rachel Maddow took them to new heights last week providing an opportunity to turn the tables. Proving herself to be agenda-driven and ignorant, Maddow launched an uninformed assault against Alabama Tea Party candidate Les Phillip, a black businessman and Navy veteran who immigrated with his parents from Trinidad in his youth.

Following Meghan McCain’s recent appearance on ABC’s The View, which NRB covered here and here, where the ‘Valley Girl’ equated racism with a comment made at the Tea Party Convention regarding literacy tests for voting, Phillip responded with the statement,

“Ms. McCain has led a life of privilege and couldn’t understand the pressures of living paycheck to paycheck. I respect her father’s service to this country, but she ridicules what she cannot understand.”

Leaping to McCain’s defense, Maddow not only mocked Phillip but alleged he wants,

“To bring back Jim Crow era voting literacy tests that were used for generations in this country to deny black people the right to vote.”

The video is hilarious if you watch the images aired behind Maddow right before she makes the allegation.

And which party invented the KKK, separate but equal schools, poll taxes and Jim Crow laws? I'll give you a clue.

It begins with Reed,Obama, Pelosi and Eldridge!

DOn’t have TV in our home and rarely go looking for video of Maddow. So, when I catch up with it every few months it is really like taking a dose of high octane.

Watching this is like WWF. It’s funny, except that most people know that wrasslin is fake.

Why doesn’t this guy, Phillips, run under the GOP banner, rather than split the vote in the November election? Sounds like he could beat Parker??

Phillip is a Republican. And a great example of the GOP incorporating the Tea Party ideals. The GOP endorsed Phillip over Parker Griffith. Remember him? The Democrat who switched parties last December after seeing the writing on the wall thanks to Pelosi.

From Wikipedia:

During the Reconstruction period of 1865–1877 federal law provided civil rights protection in the South for "freedmen" — the African Americans who had formerly been slaves. In the 1870s, white Democrats gradually returned to power in southern states, sometimes as a result of elections in which paramilitary groups intimidated opponents, attacking blacks or preventing them from voting. Gubernatorial elections were close and disputed in Louisiana for years, with extreme violence unleashed during the campaign. In 1877 a national compromise to gain southern support in the presidential election resulted in the last of the federal troops being withdrawn from the South. White Democrats had taken back power in every Southern state.[4] The white, Democratic Party Redeemer government that followed the troop withdrawal legislated Jim Crow laws segregating black people from the state's white population.

Hyper-Lesbian Maddow, one of the endless socialist propaganda deceivers on MSNBC “News,” could not tell the truth if her evil life depended on it.

And Maddow of course won’t mention that the KKK was the para-military terrorist branch of Maddow’s democrat party.

So, the bottom line of this report is that Meghan McCane knows more about racism than a black immigrant from Trinidad?

She shouldn't be fired -- she should never have been hired in the first place. She's just another libelous leftwing media shill.
