Newspapers Blast NOW for Saying Tebow Ad Promotes Domestic Violence
Washington, DC -- Just as they defended the pro-life Tim Tebow commercial before it aired during the Super Bowl, newspaper columnists are defending the commercial from the latest attack by the pro-abortion National Organization for Women (NOW) claiming it promoted domestic violence.

It is murdering your UNBORN CHILD that IS, “domestic violence”. To suggest that having an ABORTION keeps “domestic violence” in check is absurd!
What about poor Betty White? She took a beating in a commercial, and I haven’t heard boo about that.

The ads feature Pam Tebow sharing her story of how Tim Tebow “almost didn’t make it into this world” because of her tough pregnancy. Tebow was advised by her doctors to consider an abortion, but she refused.
In an attempt to mirror the humorous nature of most Super Bowl commercials, the Focus on the Family in-game ad shows Tebow tackling his mom and his mother playfully scolding him for interrupting her.
(So nit picking begins and taken to an EXTREME! Son PLAYFULLY tackles Mom and THIS glorifies “domestic violence”? Truly THAT is insane!)
That was too much for NOW president Terry O’Neill, who told the Los Angeles Times the ad glorified violence against women: “I am blown away at the celebration of the violence against women in it. That’s what comes across to me even more strongly than the anti-abortion message. I myself am a survivor of domestic violence, and I don’t find it charming. I think CBS should be ashamed of itself.”
I can’t believe there are still people who care about what the National Organization Of Wenches says.
ABORTION was not poohooed with Betty White.
It’s all about keeping people FOR abortion, even if they find it something they would NEVER do.
That is exactly what I said to hubby last night. If you go with the notion that NOW has that it is your body your right, then abortion is ripping out a body part piece by piece, so how is that not violent? IMHO Focus on the Family was brilliant to do this becaus they have peeled back and shined a light on what NOW and PP really are. No one will ever take anything either say seriously except the hard left now, they’ve basically been PETA’ed!
What better way to get 'em back on board than to play the ol' domestic violence card.
