Yesterday, The Hill reported that Patrick ("Patches") Kennedy took a swipe at Scott Brown:
"Scott Brown's (R-Mass.) election has been shown to be 'a joke,' the son of the late Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) said Thursday.
Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-R.I.) castigated Brown for having pushed to be sworn in ahead of schedule to permanently fill the Senate seat left vacant by the congressman's father's death in August.
'Brown's whole candidacy was shown to be a joke today when he was sworn in early in order to cast his first vote as an objection to Obama's appointment to the NLRB,' Kennedy said Thursday."
Today Howie Carr of the Boston Herald reviews the Kennedy family's "greatest hits" as he reports that Patrick's reelection to Congress from Rhode Island is in jeopardy:

I think the good people of MASS have had enough of the bootlegging Kennedy Clan.
Patches is all that's left.
He defines "Scraping the bottom of the barrell.. (Whiskey barrell that is). . . . . . .

Well just as people said they didn’t want to buy any Oldsmobiles now they are saying no more buying the Kennedy brand either. Should have been the other way around.

Is it possible that for the first time in my lifetime, come January 2011 there will not be a Kennedy in government in D.C.? I never thought I’d live to see that.
To: maggief
I see in the picture he is wearing the official family neck brace, it must have been passed on from Uncle Ted.

I see in the picture he is wearing the official family neck brace...Yup! That's the first thing I thought about, too!

Just moved to RI and looked it up and found, disappointingly, that Patches is not my Congresscritter so I can’t vote against him. Oh well at least when the time comes I can vote against the two senate asses Whitenhouse and Reid.

will just quietly get into the family Oldsmobile and ride away into the sunset. There was a picture of that ....
To: kalee
Wasnt that Caroline Kennedys daughter? Yep, I think it was, but I've come to expect that sort of behavior out of anyone with Kennedy blood in their veins. Stunning to me that the people of MA and RI keep electing those twits.....

With the passing away of the swimmer (now the floater), the remaining Kennedy clan (including the present governor of California) will just quietly get into the family Oldsmobile and ride away into the sunset. Post of the day!

My hero Dick Cheney should take him duck hunting.....or maybe he could ski into a tree and do serious damage to himself like his cousin. Or fly an airplane to the scene of the crash...Drive off a bridge and forget how to get out of a car underwater.....lots of Kennedy history could be repeated.....(I bad, I know):O)

Bad karma surrounds them, but they don't learn a thing from it. I'm one of those who believe, what goes around, comes around.
