Don’t let the door hit ya, etc. etc.
Why is this non-senator still on the Senate floor casting votes and giving speeches?
If he was a Republican, he’d have been tied up, muzzled, and hustled out the back door weeks ago.
Harry Reid must be getting hammered behind the scenes.
The more I think about that, the more gleeful I become.
His entire speech should be:
“Kirk out.”
he’s done nothing underhanded as far as I can tell...the original date for Brown to be in the Senate is next week.....
That’s the Post of the Week, right there!
The words “door” and “ass” spring to mind....
I predict a big ol’ drunken party at the Monocle tomorrow night.
"Marcia, beam me up !"
The Dems were hoping against hope.

Massachusetts election officials had to wait until at least 10 days after the Jan. 19 election to allow overseas ballots to arrive. Those results have now been tallied and all but three communities Salem, Springfield, and Westfield have submitted final results to the secretary of states office. Those three are expected to have the final results turned in before the Governors Council meets Wednesday at noon.
There were about 1,900 ballots sent overseas, which won’t alter the results but still must be tallied.
Weve followed the book on this, Secretary of State William F. Galvin said in an interview. Weve proceeded as we would with any other election.
Do substitute teachers give farewell addresses at the end of the day?
Paraphrasing ... “He’s dead Spock!”
The funny thing is, if they had left the law alone Gov Patrick could have simply appointed Coakley or some other Dem but they just had to deny Romney the chance of replacing Kerry had he been elected.
Ha Ha Ha - we win!
Yeah, well, Deval Patrick didn’t make it to the Gov’s Council on Wednesday to sign Brown’s election certificate, so Brown demanded to be seated. Deval will sign on Thursday.
