OBAMA'S WAR ON SENIORS which includes the retired Military 65 and over, who get double whammied with obamadeathcare.

Links to various articles are in the threads. Then leave the debt to our great grands to pay. I thought SS was the third rail of politics and the GOP was going to cut and gut it so Granny had to eat dog food...WELL it's the DEMONRATS that are doing the cut and gutting of SS and Medicare/Tricare for Life the retired Militarys secondary health ins, so I guess they want Granny to eat dog food. BTW a lot of those 10,000 laid off Sam's Club workers will be old people on SS supplementing their incomes.

Pass nothing until there is a pro-freedom, pro-Constitution, pro-American majority in both the House and Senate!

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. With the current bills, Americans are facing entrapment because Congress intends to confiscate authority over vital areas of citizen lives. The stimulus bill (which few, if any, read and the Congressional Budget Office found un-stimulating) created burdensome, intrusive structures with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology and the Health Information Research Centers. Now passage of HR 3962, and looming passage of Senate legislation, adds over 100 new boards, commissions and programs. These bureaucracies provide the framework for boundless regulatory masterpieces constraining human freedom.

Standard government practice will transform end of life discussions into life ending decisions by hedging in discussions with government mandates. These same regulations will force seniors and disabled into second class citizenship for health care, because popular philosophies rationing care find these people deficient in their societal contributions.

The new regulations will use disquietingly ambiguous legislative provisions, legislator speeches, and controversial academic expertise to place everyone on pathways to efficient and approved treatments. As a result, medical professionals will join private sector professionals such as education financial aid directors and CPA’s I know, who often serve as federal agents instead of client advocates.

Federal administrative law is the soft underbelly of our Constitution. Pursuit of happiness means primarily spiritual prosperity within the hazards and uncertainties of personal freedoms. However, politicians always offer enchanting material security within subservience to their rules. This legislation again confiscates speech and religious freedoms, protection from unreasonable search and seizure, personal life without access to courts and trial, and rights protected by our Constitution, but left undefined in the Bill of Rights. This legislation must be repudiated and the political class must begin again.

Pass nothing.

If this bill goes through, in any form, it will be another huge out of control boondoggle within a year.

Deal with exisitng conditions, don't create more headaches.

The GOP should be putting together something like this in addressing current conditions in a surgical manner:

The above is a methodology, not all points are total solutions in and of themselves.
