He needs to win some office first. But he has a great future.

This poll is meaningless if it was taken before the Brown Out in Mass...

I just saw something about unemployment benefits—applications shooting up in January, massively—and as always, “unexpectedly.”

Starting in January ‘11, if the GOP really regains a majority in either chamber of Congress or really regains a majority in both chambers of Congress, then Obama will also not be as powerful. A true, super-majority of actual conservatives in the next Congress would really make Obama very powerless. What would Obama DEFINITELY DO next in such political circumstances?

Jack the Ripper has my vote! I take him to be a fairly conservative guy.

I think you're missing the point about Brown. It's not that Scott Brown should be the nominee but that someone like Brown should be the nominee. A nice looking guy (unlike Newt) who is articulate (unlike Palin) and is someone that most people can relate to and 'real' (unlike Romney).

I think he was referring only to whether abortion should remain “legal.” He’s pro-choice-to-kill. But he’s against Birth-Canal Brain-Suctioning (that’s the clinical, non-emotional term for “Partial-Birth Abortion”) and Embryonic Stem Cell Research, strangely enough.
I can stomach a Protestant who’s so-so on abortion ahead of a loathsome, vile, Satan-worshipping, phony, pro-abortion “Catholic” any day. E.g., Kennedy, Kerry, Coakley, etc.

many freepers and tea party activists worry about what Obama will do. I worry most about what he will not do: anything that will prevent Iran from having a nuclear bomb.

Should we be surprised? Romney is a fag. Sarah isn’t near ready (2016 perhaps), and Gingrich is a lech and a RINO. Try Scott Brown for kicks.

I believe the Jan unemployment numbers will be horrific.I believe you are right about that. Ubama really screwed the pooch with his gambit of encouraging the economy go to pot in order to incite a clamor by down-on-their-luck unemployed for "free" health care.

. . .who is this generic Republican who could beat him? Fred Thompson? Michelle Bachmann? Paul Ryan?
If we pray fervently, he/she will become known. We have time.

it’s not so strange...he seems to be in favor of other things to limit abortion without touching the Roe hot potato. It may be his strategy to get in all these other restrictions in but since he supports Roe as law of the land, the feminists are off his case.
