exactly, didnt John McCain himself refuse to elevate SP as a prime candidate for 2012, preferring instead to lump her in with Mitt, Newt, Huck, etc
SP needs to figure a way to stay out and let the AZ voters sort this out. If he wins, she campaigns in the fall for him
“he said She will come to Arizona Im sure Yeah Mac, keep telling yourself that”
That doesn’t seem to stop our resident republican basher from pushing the idea on trusting headline readers.
No, actually, it's not, but I can see where you might find confusion.
The thread title reads as follows:
AZ-Sen. 2010: McCain stands up for Palin (and says she will campaign for him this year) (!!!)
which reads that
AZ-Sen. 2010: McCain stands up for Palin
AND
[McCain] says she will campaign for him this year
but the pronouns do make a determination of the subject of the second half of the the compound clause a bit confusing.
IMO, the AM should change the "she" in the parenthetical to "Palin" to make it clearer.
Not a chance in hell would she do that.
She knows by now what America
thinks of RINO McLame AND
his pukey leftist daughter.

Well, everyone needs a hobby I guess
Campaigning for McCain will not a mistake by Gov. Palin. It will be classy. She is not the type to be disloyal to the guy who picked her as his running mate. And disloyalty does not sell well in the GOP primaries.
She has made plain in her book and elsewhere where she disagrees with McCain, mostly global warming. That is all she needs to do. She will campaign for other GOP candidates in the next year who are not in lock step with you, me or her.

Again, you seem to be assuming that she is not a typical calculating amoral politician. Those of us who never succumbed the siren call of Sarah worship (the conservative counterpart to Obama worship) never had any such illusions.
She’s in a tough spot here. He choose her for his running mate. Either shows loyalty to the one who brought you into the spotlight or campaign against him. Tough choice for a honorable person.
“Perhaps it is not a mistake if she is just a poltiician like the others.”
It’s a mistake even if she is.
No the "classy" think to do is to stand up for principle. The politically/calculating/amoral thing to do is to back McCain.
She will certainly campaign for the Republican nominee. Whether she takes the time out to campaign for him in the primary is a different question.
She is not vindictive. If he’s the nominee, she’ll be there for him.
However, if McCain were to have to retire to spending time with his attractive heiress wife, I’m sure she wouldn’t mind, either politically or personally.
One of many decisions on her part that will be closely watched and discussed over the next 18 months.
First of all, I am sick and tired of being called a “Worshiper” I worship NO ONE but God..and secondly, he NEVER said she would campaign for him, he said “I’m sure she will” that doesn’t sound like she will, because if he was SO sure of it, he would have said it differently, sounds like he’s hoping she will.
Let’s hope the Republican nominee is JD Hayworth, if he wins, Sarah will campaign for him. She will campaign for whoever the nominee is, lets root for JD Hayworth!
Good response. Thanks. ES
Too much too little too late Juan. But you can start by paying Palin’s legal bills for her vetting.
This primary is going to depend on who “Arizona’s most popular elected official with the highest approval ratings” decides to support and endorse. Arizona is in a real hurt right now. Watch who Sheriff Joe Arpaio endorses. That’s the endorsement that is going to really mean something.
