...I am afraid Sarah Palin is going to harm herself unintentionally over this tea party convention in Nashville...

Let me be blunt: charging people $500.00 plus the costs of travel and lodging to go to a “National Tea Party Convention” run by a for profit group no one has ever heard of sounds as credible as an email from Nigeria promising me a million bucks if I fork over my bank account number...

Anyone who wants a third party needs to review what Ross Perot brought on us. And I think it is interesting that this writer believes Sarah Palin is too dumb to figure out whether an event and its organizers are legit.

Ruining herself for what? She can be a spokeswoman and advocate for conservative causes but she is not electable to the WH. It would be a huge mistake to think you could ever get past the media clutter and talk issues.

As appearance fees go $500 is basically nothing, local celebrities get $500 appearance fees, died in the episode teaser Star Trek extras get $500 appearance fees.

Regarding the $500, it takes money to get anything worthwhile done.

The bigger the task, the more money needed, and some of it will probably be pissed away, but that's the way it goes.

I heard her say in an interview, I think w/ Rush, that she does not think a 3rd party is a good idea right now. We need to change the R party but......

You will need to get off the drugs.

I don’t believe Sarah Palin is making people pay 500 bucks, its the event itself that is charging people

No one ever heard of most of the Founding Fathers either. Until they established the greatest country in the history of the planet.

Are you saying all those “4th & 5th guy in the landing party” dudes (the ones in the red shirts) get $500 per appearance?

The original Star Trek series truly IS the gift that keeps on giving, isn’t it?

You want to host an event at the Opryland Hotel and bring in big names, guess what, it costs. I forked out the dough because I want to be part of the Tea Party movement. I'll be in Washington on April 15th and on 9-12.
If you don't ante up now you can't complain November 3rd, 2010.

Oh sure, by all means, let’s allow the QueerLeftMedia to have free rein to ruin all truly conservative candidates, forever more.

That $500 is for a 3-day convention with workshops/seminars. It’s a working/planning convention for tea party reps.

She is no charging anybody anything to stay in any hotel. She is an invited speaker to a convention. How the convention is financed is not her business. No one has to pay to atend a convention if they don’t want to.
