Almost as soon as the botched Christmas airplane bombing hit the airwaves, the politics of national security reared its head.
Many Republicans quickly attacked President Obama for being responsible for the fact that Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab was able to walk onto an airplane with dangerous explosives despite the fact that the government had received warnings about him. They argued that the failure proved the White House was weak on terrorism.
"Soft talk about engagement, closing Gitmo," warned South Carolina Republican Jim DeMint, "these things are not going to appease the terrorists..." Representative Dan Burton of Indiana called for Janet Napolitano, who said the system "had worked," to step down. Napolitano, said Burton, "does not have the background or experience necessary to execute her responsibilities." Former Vice President Dick Cheney asked of the president, "Why doesn't he want to admit we're at war."

For our President the Nobel, his vacations and being a world-wide citizen is more important that the nation and its citizens.
This President reminds me of many children (you and I included probably if we’d admit it. When we were kids and got in trouble we would (at some point) say “Johnny did it!” or “It’s Johnny’s fault!”

Course if any of the media were reading this site they would think that we have come to these decisions based on politics but the fact is many of us would be pissed off if any republican president had acted the way obama has.
He will not admit what islamic terrorism is, he has now shown he is a muslim or was, he had shown a big ignorance to the threats to this country and these vacations are outrageous.

Of course not. But this administration will make no progress until they admit their errors. So far they seem to think they are flawless.
So, when Democrats are in control, we must be measured and nuanced, not rushing to judgement, etc. But when Republicans are in control, it’s quite appropriate to descend into fits of cage-wrattling, carpet-gnashing, foaming at the mouth blind rage.

Now if there was no 9/11 I can see these lib media types being correct about republicans..
