The point is, she's right. The truth is obvious and we're in denial. But it feels really good!
I wonder, how will this affect the Obama and Holder decision to reemphasize white collar crime and civil rights by pulling resources away from counter terrorism, even though they never officially stated the de-emphasiszing of CT. Without additional resources, something has to pay for the increase in resources for white collar and civil rights, and where this would come from was clear to all, even though no one said anything. The idea of the administration is to do things like this without making any public announcement regard cuts or reallocation of resources in such a case, since when something does happen, this would immediately cause for a public outcry and criticism with people pointing the finger to the administration and DoJ.
