Europe cold snap kills dozens across continent ('Global Warming' wreaking havoc continent-wide)

Dozens of people have died across Europe as days of snow storms and sub-zero temperatures swept the continent, causing traffic chaos for millions.

At least 29 people froze to death in Poland as temperatures fell far below freezing, while in southern Germany a figure of -33C (-27F) was recorded.

Moscow said it was deploying 9,000 snow ploughs to clear the city's streets.

Air, rail and road transport links were disrupted across northern Europe where more snow was expected in coming days.

Eurostar services between the UK and the continent were suspended on Monday for a third day, as the company launched an immediate review into train breakdowns which have stranded and delayed tens of thousands of passengers since Friday.

'Saturation point'

The crisis prompted French President Nicolas Sarkozy to call the head of national rail carrier SNCF - the majority stakeholder in Eurostar - to order a normal resumption of service by Tuesday.

Sarkozy orders Eurostar to end Paris-London rail chaos

http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20091221/bs_afp/britainfrancebelgiumtravelweatherpolitics_20091221161431

Rory Mulholland – Mon Dec 21, 11:12 am ET

PARIS (AFP) – French President Nicolas Sarkozy has ordered Eurostar to get its trains back on track by Tuesday as anger mounted over a weekend of chaos on the high-speed service between Paris and London.

The rail company said services could partially resume on Tuesday morning if test runs on trains “go well”, but that schedules would not get back to normal before Christmas on Friday at the earliest.

Around 40,000 travellers have been left stranded by the cancellation of services on one of the busiest weeks of the year in the run-up to the Christmas break, Eurostar said.

The chaos began when five trains broke down on Friday night amid freezing temperatures, trapping two thousand passengers overnight in the tunnels that link the European continent with Britain.

Many passengers were outraged at their treatment while trapped on board the blocked trains, with some complaining they had been left for hours without food, drink or information on when and how their ordeal would end.

The bigger the Global Warming® conference the more intense the Gore Effect. Cheers, Hopenhagen.

If the Sun continues as it is now almost spotless, and with the magnetic flux at very low levels.. the Earth will continue its cooling. Last Summer I predicted this winter would be a real brutal one..and it has already exceeded my expectations. I think based on what has already happened both in the states and Europe that January through March is going to be even worse. I would not be surprised if next summer ends up being very cool. Historically these shifts to extreme cold have happened quickly in the span of a year or two. I cannot imagine what the result of widespread crop failures would be on top of the other mess we are in and it is possible. Maybe Al Gore will crawl in a hole somewhere and never emerge. New data just released from East Anglia says:

Global Warming is responsible Ice Ages, and Ice Ages are responsible for Global Warming. Now our faked data will always be right; no matter which way the natural climate cycle is going.

Computer models (& code) to follow, once we can get a program to create these desired results.

A world wide famine in which billions will starve to death. At least that would be a worst case scenario if a new ice age began. Thanks God for global warming!

The numbers have been run thru East Anglia’s statistical modification algore-ithms to get the ‘true’ temperature: they’re saying that the actual low temperature in Bavaria was 70F not -27F, which is total proof of global warming.
