Is Rep. Michele Bachmann a “lovable little fuzzball”? Those of us who know her on a more personal basis know that’s a pretty good description of Michele personally, but politically,she’s about as tough as they get. Breitbart TV’s B-cast interviews Bachmann, who brings listeners up to date on Barney Frank’s financial-reform legislation, which dropped on the House last week. It’s 1300 pages long, and the vote will be taken — today. It reorders the entire financial-services industry and vastly increases government control over it. Oh, and ACORN, too.
Frank bypassed the committee process, according to Bachmann, and she doesn’t see much hope for stopping it in the House. She wants to encourage people to put pressure on the Senate, where she thinks the bill can be stopped (via Powip):
Does calling Congress actually work? Bachmann says it absolutely does. She also encourages people to call their Representatives today to at least try to stop this bill, but like Bachmann, I think the chances of stopping it there are negligible, especially since Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank have a 75-seat majority and the bill has flown under the radar during the health-care debate in the Senate. It will be tough to stop in the upper chamber, but not impossible. We just need to get this on our radar screen quickly and start perusing its 1300 pages more than members of Congress did before having it crammed down their throats.

Damn the sh*t never stops does it? Every day one of these bozos fires another shot meant to incrementally destroy what has made us great. A thirteen-hundred page bill? You know Frank didn’t write that. Who did?????? And how much are they paying Congressman Queenie?
Why is it so often the writer of an article does not post the bill number or title? What is the bill number? I can’t call a Senator’s office without being able to reference one or the other.
Michele needs to run for higher office. President maybe? Or....on the same ticket with Sarah Palin. These two ladies could kick a$$.
Worst part is if they accidentally slide crap like that through, its a matter of time before a tyrant takes over the govt... African style....

I think she would have more success if she said she were trying to stop Tiger woods. That seems to be what matters most these days.
Spectacular Bachman audio. Pass this around and urge friends & relatives to listen. It’s a travesty what the Usurper-in-Chief and his band of aides and congressional thugs are slipping past the uncritical minds of the masses.
I’ve always been so impressed with Bachman’s level-headed discourse that comes across as cohesive thought as compared to someone like Palin whose speech seems so scattered (unless she is reading a teleprompter- sound familiar?). Great values, but she’s not my chosen voice for conservativism. Bachman’s dialogue is bulletproof, Palin’s is not. The media always has a field day with her gaffes, so in that sense, she’s another GWB in terms of articulateness.
If only Bachman were the current media darling rather than Palin. And yes, Palin is the current “media darling” whether it’s positive or negative coverage - she gets the attention.
Conservatives have to choose a slick speaker for the next Pres Election. Last time Repubs had one was Reagan. We can do it again.
It’s obvious what they are doing, securing their power. The American people keep saying “wait unti 2010 and you will be voted out” and the polls keep reinforcing that, the Democrats are seizing power - that’s their only hope of surviving. It makes so sad I could cry but that’s what their end game is.

For me Palin is ok, but my money is on Michelle.
If I had to choose between the two it would be Bachmann hands down.

Everyone, everyone, everyone on FR - Teaparty’ers - all need to hear about this and get busy asap - not just calling members of the Senate but going to their in-state offices!
She says that the calls do work!
She says that we all who love our military who put their lives on the line for our country and its freedoms every day - MUST do what it takes to let the Senate know to vote down this monstrosity which, as she says, is worse and more damaging to this country, than Healthcare and Cap and Tax.
