Glad to help. Don’t want your rally’s message attacked because of one of the messengers.
God bless, my FRiend! Family obligations today or I’d be there if I could.
My point, and I do have one, is that we stand today with Debra Burlingame and all the others who are irate that terrorists will be brought HERE for trial....
..and the mockery we can expect.
I have friends who lost loved ones when the towers fell. My husband lost a former colleague. I'm sorry if I find your statement both callous and inane.
Tim, do you know if this will be carried on CSPAN at any time? It doesn’t look like they plan to do it live (although I couldn’t watch if they did) but maybe at some future time? Thanks.
If only they would do that. He would last about a block and a half. Maybe you’d like to take a stroll with him.
AMEN.
I feel for all the victims of 9-11, and I’m still angry about my country being attacked, but it seems that most New Yorkers have forgotten, or at least they seem to express that in their choice politicians.
So, if I’m callous, what about the majority of New Yorkers who have, since 9-11, elected Hillary, Schumer, Spitzer, and Obama, and supported Kerry in 2004?
See also Wiki - I trust Stolen Valor ... :-(
Hard to argue with that.....
Of course I stand with the victims, but New York’s recent political history leads me to believe that New York does not stand with the victims, or those who shed blood to keep us safe from another such attack, including the heroes who saved lives on that horrible day.
All we bitter clingers declared ourselves New Yorkers on 9-11, and New Yorkers even remembered that they were Americans. Since then, I’m not sure.
If New Yorkers now object to KSM being tried in New York City, and probably being granted a mistrial after Obama buggered the process by predicting its outcome - How’s that hope and change working for you?
Dennehy was a Marine in the early 60s, but as the other poster pointed out, he said numerous times that he had had a couple tours in Nam, was wounded one or more times—he was self-deprecating about it all-didn’t lay it on too thick or anything-but it came out ( in the book Stolen Valor and elsewhere) that he never was in Nam at all (closest was Okinawa or something-and he had some cushy duty there, to boot). Too bad, I always liked him.
The western you’re referring to is Silverado, I believe.
Maybe you will be surprised by the outcome ...the numbers...today.
I do not know.
Dave: You have a right to your opinion yet I want to tell you that I personally know thousands of New Yorkers who have not forgotten, now one one of it. ... I don;t speak for the rest.
It sucks, I know. Here’s my view of him on this point alone. Late last night when Judea Pearl could not make it to today’s rally, Dennehy got a call and dropped his plans for today. Why? To drive down from CT to read Pearl’s statement. Wait until you read it (after 2 PM) and see the video of it that we are filming.
“Dave: You have a right to your opinion yet I want to tell you that I personally know thousands of New Yorkers who have not forgotten, now one one of it. ... I don;t speak for the rest.”
I’m sure the thousands of which you speak exist, but sadly, New York contains millions of others.
Well, considering the Island went 52-48 for McCain, and about the same in Council races a month ago - if we can get out the vote and minimize crossovers, we should be able to do it.
