SEATTLE -- The suspect in the fatal shooting of four officers in Parkland was not found inside a Seattle home that was surrounded by a SWAT team and numerous officers, Pierce Co. Sheriff Detective Ed Troyer said.
Maurice Clemmons, 37, was believed to be holed up in the home in the Leschi neighborhood after he was shot and wounded by one of the four slain officers before fleeing from the Parkland coffee shop where the officers were gunned down.

Good news out of Seattle this morning.
Maurice Clemmons shot and killed by an SPD officer. Now society and especially all the victims’ families don’t have the additional trauma of a trial, lengthy appeals, and a debated death penalty. That officer is a true hero as were those who were murdered two days prior.
